 Libor Šmoldas is a Prague-based jazz guitarist, Libor Šmoldas has worked and recorded with international stars such as George Mraz, Jeff Ballard, Sam Yahel, Bobby Watson, Adam Nussbaum, and Brian Charette. Libor has released six albums as a leader and many more as a sideman. Although awarded a scholarship to Berklee School of Music, he has lived in Prague all his life, touring the US with his Czech Quartet.
Libor has recorded with Nussbaum, Anderson, Mraz, Ballard and Yahel. Working on several other projects, Libor had performed throughout China, Australia, and most European cities, often collaborating with legendary saxophonist, Bobby Watson, with whom they recorded the album "Intuition".
Šmoldas teaches at the Prague Conservatory, at jazz workshops in Australia, UK, Germany, Greece and Italy, and master classes at several US colleges.

LBK is way more fun than singing to a pre-recorded track.
We have over 150 songs on our list, including '70s, '80s, '90s and contemporary pop/rock/soul. The list will be posted on the 12 Grapes Facebook page each month, so check it out.

 Garland Jeffreys has done it all. This Sheepshead Bay native attended Syracuse University, where he spent a year studying art history in Florence, Italy.

 Beki Brindle is a lead/slide guitarist who was inducted into The New York Blues Hall of Fame in 2014. Her band is a mix of classic and original Blues peppered with sounds of Chicago, The Delta and even The West Coast.
Born in the US, Beki traveled to Ireland in the late '80s, where she shared the stage with Hot House Flowers, members of U2, The Waterboys, members of Thin Lizzy, and backed up blues artists such as Carey Bell, Johnny Mars, Joe Lewis Walker, Tampa Red and Fenton Robinson.
The band includes top-notch, touring musicians VITO LUIZZI on drums (Johnny Winter, Derrick Trucks, Susan Tedeshi, Sonny Landreth and Leslie West, to name a few), PETE LEVIN on keys (Aztec Two Step, Chuck Mangione, David Sanborn, Carly Simon, Paul Simon and hundreds of others), and FRANK GANCI on bass.

Cabrera's Cuban heritage is an unmistakable part of his sound. His music's been described as "the most authentic fusion of U.S. Blues & Cuban Rumba ever recorded."  Greg Artzner and Terry Leonino, better known as the award-winning folk duo Magpie, have created a fascinating work with “Sword of the Spirit,” a song cycle which looks at the history and legacy of abolitionist John Brown and the famous Harper’s Ferry raid of October, 1859 which many historians consider to be the pivotal event that led inexorably to the American Civil War less than two years later. Greg and Terry’s career as musicians, actors and playwrights has spanned more than 36 years, has taken them to concert stages all over North America and abroad, and has garnered them numerous awards including 3 Wammie awards from the Washington Area Music Association, the John Denver Memorial Award for environmental activism through music, an Addie Award for their song “Take Me Back to Harpers Ferry,” and the “Spirit of John Brown” award from the Adirondack-based organization John Brown Lives!
