Sari mixes a passion for music with a duty of social responsibility -- and is uncompromising in both endeavors. She founded MATTERS, a non-profit organization that draws attention to humanitarian causes through the arts. Schorr has performed concerts for the benefit of the United Nations, Peace & Justice Now and Orphans International. Most notable is her work on “Toast to Freedom” for Amnesty International.

 Susan Kane's sweet and sharp Americana is an alchemy of stuff dug from the dirt, born from books, gleaned from the air, yesterday's news and tomorrow's daydreams. Her third CD, A Word Child, was released in late 2012. Like her previous two releases, it was well received by radio the world-over, reaching high positions on several charts over several months. She is hard at work on her fourth release.
New York based Judy Kass, classically trained, blends generous amounts of folk, jazz and blues. Whether playing piano or finger-style guitar, Judy quickly draws in her audience with soulful vocals, no-nonsense lyrics and genre-bending harmonics. Her debut album, Better Things, released early 2014, highlights her skills as a multi-instrumentalist, singer, writer and arranger.

 Julie is a NYC / Hudson Valley singer/songwriter. With five albums to her credit, Julie's music continues to receive steady exposure on WFUV 90.7, WHUD 100.7 and The Peak 107.1, among others. Julie's latest CD is called "Songs in a Bottle", and includes a collection of songs that "illuminates my real love of '70's folk-rock artists" including The Beatles, Rod Stewart and Janice Joplin and, of course, Dylan.
Pat Kelly is a world-touring singer/songwriter from Ireland. He's recorded/performed everywhere from Germany and Copenhagen to the Greek island of Kos. Kelly has been referred to as a "cross between Roy Orbison and Peter Kingsbery..." and as one reviewer writes, "If Kelly hadn't been born in Ireland, you'd swear he came from Texas." Pat and Julie have been recording and performing together for years.

They have recorded three albums for Brooklyn-based record label, Hipbone Records. The band proudly features backup singer Vicki Bell and drummer Ray Grappone, the principal owners and sound engineers at Hipbone Records, as well as guitarist Jimmy Bennett, bassist Peter Bennett, and Ross Rice on keyboards.
The third album, "Love The Way You Roll," will be released on August 15th. It will be available at this event, along with tee shirts, posters, and guitar string jewelry.

 British-born, New Orleans-based, Jon Cleary is an R&B/funk musician who has studied the "musical culture and life of New Orleans".
Cleary is an accomplished pianist, vocalist and song-writer and performs with a number of music luminaries including Bonnie Raitt, Taj Mahal, B.B. King, Ryan Adams, and Eric Burdon. Compositions by Cleary have been recorded by notable musicians including Taj Mahal, Bonnie Raitt and most recently John Scofield on his album, Piety Street.
Cleary's current band is Jon Cleary & the Absolute Monster Gentlemen, who have two current albums. Cleary has three solo albums.

| Brooksie Wells, originally discovered by Bobby Darin at the age of 19, spent her early years as a member of Kid Creole & The Coconuts and a songwriter for Chappell Music in New York City. She landed several cuts on major recordings and movie soundtracks and worked with John Lennon's band Elephant's Memory. After growing up in the South with parents who fought for Civil Rights and The Equal Rights Amendment, Wells' move to New York in the early 1970s was fitting, and the thriving folk music scene heavily influenced her writing. With a strong foundation, she became a successful songwriter in folk and country music |
