CherryCase hails from Nashville, TN, but will always be from Carolina at heart. Jake Etheridge started CherryCase as an acoustic project in early 2006. Over the years of songwriting, Jake added a couple more pieces to the puzzle, and by early 2010, CherryCase had released a full-band, full-length record. Since moving to Nashville, Etheridge has only grown to perfect the polished acoustic pop sound. Drawing from influences like Dashboard Confessional, Coldplay and Ryan Adams, CherryCase continues to produce solid songs about the one thing most troubling to every guy in the world…girls. Catch them at your local venue because its bound to be a party with the CherryCase boys. “..a very polished acoustic pop sound. It’s not unlike what they play when the guy in the movie has his big realization that he totally screwed up, and he might not get the girl back..quiet,touching melodies broken up by grand, swelling choruses guaranteed to hook you”

Funk to the max!

Not all FUNK is created equal. Sometimes something’s missing; a beat with no syncopation, bass with no grooooooooove, vocals with no soul; leaving the listener with a severe case of Honky-Pox. To guard against this, we recommend a soul vaccination administered by the Funk Junkies.

After several years putting the Funk Junkies together with some of New York's best musical talent, we can assure you they are specialists. This 14 piece band with a 5 piece horn section lays down the funk! Check them out to cure what ails you!

Chris O'Leary & Band shakes up Marlboro with a Halloween Party!

The Chris O'Leary Band's music is rooted in the blues with shades of New Orleans, rockabilly and big, high-energy sound. Levon Helm can be heard in Chris's early sessions, and sitting in with regular gigs. Soon, Levon asked Chris to join the house band at his new club in New Orleans. Chris’s band relocated and became the focal point of Levon Helm's Barn Burners, backing up touring stars and opening for New Orleans' finest players.

Chris continued to tour with the Barn Burners and in 2007, formed a new band, including fellow Barn Burner Frankie Ingrao on bass, guitarist Chris Vitarello (already known from his tasty, incendiary work with the Bruce Katz Band), and drummer Sean McCarthy.

O'Leary's band was a big hit at The Falcon’s first New Year's Eve Celebration, and continues to impress our music savvy crowd.

A consummate live performer, lyricist, singer and guitarist, Jack Grace is at the helm of a powerhouse band that plays kick the can with any musical genre that it stumbles across. The New York Press raved, "what sets his songs apart from rest of the country or alt-country scene is his laugh-out-loud, absurdist wit." :|: The New York Times says "Hugh Pool's songs hark back to the 1960's rock that was steeped in the blues...extending from rolling-and-tumbling slide-guitar boogies to neo-psychedelic jams to reflective, down-home hymns that recall The Band."

Calvin Cooke, Chuck Campbell, Darick Campbell and Aubrey Ghent- are the greatest living musicians to embody the Sacred Steel tradition - joyously encompassing blues, rock and soul. The Slide Brothers were a featured act of the Experience Hendrix Tour, thrilling sold out shows across North America with their interpretations of Hendrix signatures “Purple Haze” and “Foxy Lady”.

“I want to take this musical history and make it relevant to give people a better idea of who we are and where this tradition came from. ....[The Slide Brothers can] bridge the cultural gap between people who are seventy-five years old and kids who are fifteen years old by reaching back into this history of music.” - Robert Randolph

Not to be missed, The New York Times says "the quartet plays with a brand of fierce, sharply directed energy, and the kind of intensely focused sound that makes every line in a texture stand out clearly." The year ahead will take them on tour across the country and to Taiwan. Recently selected for the Chamber Music at Lincoln Center Two program, they are represented by Concert Artists Guild.

Suggested donation of $20 adults and $10 students with part of the proceeds going to Midnight Run, an organization that nightly feeds the homeless in Manhatten (home of the quartet) – new or gently used backpacks will also be collected. More information: 914.666.7001

Blues
12 Grapes Music & Wine Bar

Peekskill, NY   See Map
Hailing from New York City, "genre-busting" Blues guitarist Dave Fields is a virtuoso whose performances are always electrifying, awe-inspiring and intensely passionate. Dave Fields has worked with many musical legends including Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz, Sean Lennon, The Drifters and Tommy James.

Joining Dave tonight will be JT Lauritsen, a Blues artist from Norway whose band, JT Lauritsen and the Buckshot Hunters, perform around the globe. The Blues harp and accordion (his "squeezebox") are JT's signature sound. Add that to the virtuoso guitar playing of Dave Fields and you're in for one sweet night of Blues. The sheer chemistry of these two is electrifying, and JT's squeezebox exudes a sound and feeling that can't be beat.
