Hailey Knox has been playing the guitar since she was eight years old and has been featured on cable television and radio. Samantha joined Hailey while mastering percussion, guitar and harmonies.

 Tom Polizzi is a 15 year old jazz guitar player from Simsbury, CT. He started playing guitar at the age of 9, drawing his roots from the blues, then finding his love of jazz at the age of 13. He studies at the prestigious Greater Hartford of the Arts, where he is now a sophomore and prominent jazz guitar major.
It was through the Academy that Tom met his bandmates, bassist/pianist Andre Bernier, and drummer Jacob Patrone. Together, the group explores a combination sound of jazz and fusion, drawing influence from artists like Roy Hargrove, Snarky Puppy, Bad Plus, Pat Metheny, John Scofield, and Thelonious Monk, to name a few. They still work to pursue a sound that is original, but pays tribute to their inspirations. |

 Peter Broderick is a well respected session musician, playing violin, banjo, musical saw, and mandolin on recordings by M. Ward, Zooey Deschanel, Dolorean and others. He played and toured with numerous groups, including Horse Feathers, Norfolk & Western, Loch Lomond and Laura Gibson. In mid-2007, Broderick joined the Danish ensemble Efterklang in Copenhagen to join their touring band after the release of their album Parades.
After touring, he released a mini album of solo piano music, Docile, on the Swedish label Kning Disk, as well as his first full-length album of piano and string based compositions, Float, and an orchestral concept album, Music for Falling From Trees, on the US label Western Vinyl and British label Erased Tapes. |

 New York's own Kim Clarke performs on the Acoustic Bass, Electric Upright and four and five-stringed Electric Bass Guitar. In her 22-year tour affiliation with trombonist Joseph Bowie and his avant-jazz funk unit Defunkt, Kim wowed audiences from Iceland to Istanbul. Internationally she is noted as "at home in the Ron Carter School of HardBop" and "a dynamic Woman in Jazz."
In 1988, Rob Scheps formed Core-tet and Bartokking Heads, and established himself as a formidable force on the jazz scene. A member of the Mannes College of Music Faculty, Rob also has been a workshop clinician at Bowdoin, Dartmouth, and Hunter among others.
Kim and Rob will be joined by Bryan Carott on vibraphone and special guest on drums.

Called "three of the finest folk violinists anywhere" (Washington Post), Celtic Fiddle Festival celebrates the violin in all its globe-trotting variations. Fiddlers Kevin Burke (Ireland), Christian Lemaître (Brittany, France) and André Brunet (Quebec, Canada) showcase a fascinating juxtaposition of international styles.
Local saxophonist, composer and writer Chris Kelsey, who was to perform with his trio as part of the Monday night jazz session scheduled for the new Quinn's in Beacon, NY will now perform instead at the Beacon venue Dogwood on Monday, October 14th at 8 PM. As Quinn's continues to run into challenges as it undergoes renovations to prepare for its eventual grand re-opening, the owners realized the venue would not be to open in time for this event. As a result, Dogwood has graciously offered to open on a Monday night when they would usually be closed in order to present Chris Kelsey in a trio with bassist Austin White and drummer Dave Miller. As with all planned Monday jazz sessions at Quinn's, this performance by the Chris Kelsey Trio at Dogwood will be free admission, although donations will be requested and gratefully accepted.
