| Jeff Entin and Bob Blum met in a mental hospital in 1972, where they were both aides. Discovering that playing music together was much more fun and rewarding, they have been at it ever since. Influenced by everything they heard, they play a wide variety of music with an almost infinite song list including many originals, with a bit of jam band attitude thrown in. When the venue calls for it, they expand to include drums and/or keys. The emphasis is on fun for both Jeff and Bob and the audience, with familiar, obscure, and original tunes and jams making the show.

 In early 2011 former Dead Or Alive vocalist Dave Falkenmeyer and Guitarist Tom Rhein composed the acoustic duo Twisted Steele. The band became a trio in June 2012 when Jack Sheppard was added to the band after the band wanted to expand their sound. Seeking a change from drumming in classic rock bands for thirty years Jack auditioned and took Twisted Steele to another level with incredible precision and impeccable timing. Dave is no stranger to the music scene as he fronted many bands in his twenty five year career moving crowds with his wide vocal range and crowd interaction makes his performances unforgettable. Tom has toured for many years in his 30 years of experience. He started touring with southern rock bands in Georgia at the age of eighteen and continues to play through today but on a smaller scale. Tom and Dave met in the band Backlash a well known rock cover band from Orange County NY. They rocked the local area for well over five years until their demise in late 2007. |

 Eliane Elias will perform on the stage of Orange Hall Theatre on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at 8pm.
Described by David Becker, writer for the Bay Area Jazz Examiner, as “one of Brazil’s most gifted contemporary jazz musicians: one of those rare polymaths, equally talented as a pianist, vocalist, and arranger,” Eliane Elias will be accompanied by her husband Marc Johnson on bass and Mauricio Zottarelli on drums.
This concert, which is the third and last in the Women in Jazz series at SUNY Orange, will surely heat up the cold winter’s night. Orange Hall is located at the corner of Wawayanda and Grandview Avenues, Middletown, NY.

Addie Brownlee's voice has been compared to Dusty Springfield. It's Americana, Alt/Country, Singer/Songwriter. "If Brownlee's voice is of the dust, the earth, then her lyrics are a hard rain. Eroding the surface of things, exposing feelings that aren't easily expressed or classified, but so familiar..." | Heather Pierson was born on the edge of the American West and raised on the music of the South – blues, jazz, soul – music that is at once both celebratory and melancholy. She is a prolific multi-instrumentalist performer, composer and songwriter in nearly every genre of music. Her wildly and beautifully varied live performances and her growing catalog of CD releases reflect this boundless creativity. New Orleans jazz, Delta blues, poignant and narrative story-songs, Native American chants, contemplative instrumental piano – all are well within the capable grasp of this inspiring and award-winning singer/songwriter and performer as she moves seamlessly from one style to the next. Her latest CD, "The Open Road", is a collection of fourteen of her contemplative solo piano pieces.  Rex Fowler is one-half of celebrated folk/rock duo, Aztec Two-Step. In the late 60's, as a teenager from Maine, Rex followed the song in his heart - first to Boston in 1971 where he met his musical partner Neal Shulman, then on to New York City - where his songs began to take wing.

Starnes&Shah, featuring vocal duo Dania Abu-Shaheen (guitar/vocals) and Zilpha Starnes (keyboards/vocals), was formed in Astoria, NY in 2005. Bring a poet/songwriter from Lebanon together with a choirgirl from Dallas, Texas, and you get a unique musical counterpoint.
The songs range from pared down acoustic ballads to rock anthems complete with choral arrangements and layered guitar effects. They are stories rendered with Dania’s poetry and music. Zilpha’s harmonies play between exchange and tension to produce a signature sound.

JOHN'S BIO; ... John Bendy was born in Brooklyn, New York October 5 1980. He started playing guitar at age 10. His first gig was a school talent show at age 12.
Since then there have been hundreds upon hundreds of gigs and late night jams. In his early twenties he was taken under the wing of blues masters Bill Perry and Popa Chubby. He has shared the stage with the Bendy Pastorius Group of which he was a founding member along with his brother Mike Bendy on bass and Julius Pastorius on the drums since 2007. He played guita...r on Chrissie O'Dell's 2010 release 'If I had a dime' which charted extremely well on blues music charts around the nation.
