Acoustic, Singer-Songwriter
12 Grapes Music & Wine Bar
12 North Division Street
Peekskill, NY   See Map
You've seen Drew rock our stage with his bands The Fred Savages and The Drew Bordeaux Group. Drew is an accomplished singer, guitarist, violinist and bass player, and one of our favorite artists. But, among all his accomplishments, Drew is first and foremost a songwriter. He has composed dozens of songs and performed at an impressive list of venues, including Boston's the Middle East and Sanders Theater, and NYC's the Bitter End, Ace of Clubs and CBGB (and let's not forget 12 Grapes!)

Tonight, Drew is joined by his "lil' sis" Selena, who is also a talented guitarist, vocalist and songwriter. Selena is currently a student at SUNY New Paltz. Both Selena and Drew will be performing many of their original tunes tonight, as well as some choice covers.

Join us on the couches, for dinner or just a glass of wine (Bordeaux, perhaps?) and another entertaining "Unplugged" Sunday.

Murali Coryell is a triple threat contemporary blues artist who sings, writes and plays guitar with the best. As the son of guitar legend Larry Coryell, Murali grew up with Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, & Carlos Santana. Murali has toured with father Larry Coryell and Joe Louis Walker as a featured artist and as a supporting act for B.B. King. Murali’s CD "Sugar Lips" reached # 5 on the Living Blues Radio Chart - recorded in Nashville with Tom Hambridge producer of Buddy Guy’s latest Grammy winner and featured guests Joe Louis Walker and Larry Coryell. Billboard called it “one sweet triptych across the musical map”. Rave reviews appeared in Living Blues and Elmore Magazines resulting in a Guitar Player Magazine feature. The Ed Palermo Big Band
Rock (classic). and Big Band to the max!
The Falcon
1348 Route 9W
Marlboro, NY   See Map
Ed Palermo is not a “business as usual” musician. After all, when most people think of “big bands” they think of Duke and Dorsey. But go to see Ed Palermo’s Big Band and you might hear Zappa, Hendrix, the blues of Paul Butterfield & Mike Bloomfield or one of Ed’s own compositions, loaded with lush turns and unexpected twists. Gil Evans wonderfully articulated Palermo’s unusual approach to traditional instrumentation:

“(Ed) was using the instrumentation of a traditional big band yet his arrangements and songs were anything but that. When I thought the music was going a certain direction, it would suddenly turn a corner. Ed has the ability to balance cohesiveness and unpredictability.” - Gil Evans.

His CD, “the ed palermo big band plays the music of frank zappa” and “Take Your Clothes Off When You Dance”, garnered rave reviews from Downbeat. Ed and company will perform two sets at 7:15 and 8:45.
