Join us for some tasty soul-jazz and brunch at the Falcon in Marlboro!! Jb (Hammond Organ) toured for over 6 years with Grammy nominated singer Shemekia Copeland. With musical prodigies Lee Falco on drums/vocals and Myles Mancuso on guitar/vocals.

Both traditional and trailblazing...Highly recommended. ***Blues Review Magazine***

Baum's playing has a deep funk to it, with a big influence of Jimmy Smith. And Baum also brings in all kinds of other things as well - dissonant jazz, alternative rock, R&B. He's not too far off from what John Medeski does with Medeski, Martin and Wood, but with more of a blues streak to it. ***Jim Trageser. Escondido, Calif. ***

Online: www.wtbq.com or 93.5FM, NY   See Map
As a (new) Senior at Warwick Valley High School, Ava Rae Heatley is an incredible singer songwriter. She has played at many different venues throughout Orange and Sussex County. She recently performed at Winslow Therapeutic Riding’s Annual Gala, was a main stage performer at Warwick Farm Aid, Warwick’s Music on the Green, Tri-State Theatre’s Spring Concerts, and Sussex Community College. In addition, she opened for local artists Emish and Jim Lord during the Vision Voices Concert Series. Ava’s musical genre is pop/rock and her influences are many. She loves the piano playing skill of Billy Joel, the rocking emotion of Elton John, the melodies of Sara Bareilles and the grooves of Foster The People. Ava’s songs combine the storytelling of Taylor Swift, the sardonic wit of Ben Folds and the vocal dynamics of Nora Jones. She writes about the characters she meets in her life. Even though the names are changed, everyone wants to know who her songs are about. But she’s not telling.

The Rock Tavern Chapter of the Hudson Valley Folk Guild will be kicking off the 2012-2013 season with Voices of Glory as the featured performers. They will be doing a very special 50-minute set of Gospel music. We will also have open mic performances open to all. Cost of admission is the usual $6 ($5 for Folk Guild members and seniors). The Voices of Glory were in the top five of the finalists on Season 4 of America's Got Talent and were originally from the Hudson Valley but are now headquartered in Branson, Missouri. Since then the trio (Michael, Avery, & Nadia Cole, now ages 19, 16 and 12) has taken their performance to an even higher level, and is being mentioned in the same breath as some of gospel music’s finest performers. They have their own music show in Branson, Missouri and have sung at Madison Square Garden to a crowd of 18,000. Don't miss out on this rare opportunity to see them locally.

People who know Mishti are in awe of her talent. To those who've never seen her perform, take our advice: You should.

Mishti's music has been described as "coasting between a bottom-heavy Zeppelin Rock, Blues-infused grooves, Thelonius Monk-inspired guitar work, and a Nina Simone-style wail-to-whisper." Always looking to cultivate a connection with her audience, she strives to create an experience that grabs listeners both emotionally, and "by the balls". Mishti is joined tonight by a fine collection of incredible musicians... Mani Cregan, Rich Kelly and Tito Wilson. This is gonna be fun.
