 Susan (Fisher) Wright was born in Milwaukee, grew up in Peekskill, and learned piano from her mother Audrey Fisher and Thom Piliouras, music teacher at Peekskill HS.
A recording engineer in the 80's, Sue recorded for Broadway shows and bands, the most well-known being De La Soul's "Three Feet High and Rising" in which she was also the mysterious "Sue-in-the-House" at the end of "Potholes in My Lawn". She teaches music in the Beacon City School District where she often sings with Pete Seeger. She has also published articles in "Teaching Music" and "SingOut!" magazines.
Peter Valentine has performed with artists as diverse as Carly Simon and Tony Bennet. He has also performed or recorded with Pat Benetar, Bruce Springsteen, and Yoko Ono, among others. Peter was the musical director for the 1st national tour of Footloose, performed in RENT, and had a principal role in the original Broadway cast of The News.

 At 12 Grapes, we love nothing more than to present original artists, musicians who use their creativity and talent to express themselves through music. Our Sunday Singer/Songwriter Showcases are dedicated to such musicians.
We came upon this young band, Harmonium, at an Acoustic Open Mic. To describe their music as "unique" is an understatement. Harmonium is a World-fusion band that incorporates very different styles of playing into one unique entity. The use of various instruments from around the world allows the band to create sounds that "free your mind and spirit, as well as spring your body into action."
Harmonium is a Yorktown-based band, featuring Mark McIntyre on guitar, Joe Schultz on didgeridoo (an Australian wind pipe) and hang (a cylindrical steel drum), and Mike Cesario on percussion.
These three young artists invite you to "Come experience the world where music connects us all as one... experience Harmonium."

educational, media & grass-roots campaign dedicated to demonstrating that non-violence is a powerful way to heal, transform, & empower lives and communities. High Meadow School and The Rosendale Theatre Collective are joining to produce a concluding celebration of the Season for Nonviolence that will feature a screening of the documentary “Soundtrack For A Revolution”, which tells the story of the American civil rights movement through its powerful music. The freedom songs protesters sang on picket lines, in mass meetings, in paddy wagons, & in jail cells as they fought for justice and equality. The film features new performances of the freedom songs by top artists, including John Legend, Joss Stone, Wyclef Jean, & The Roots; riveting archival footage; and interviews with civil rights foot soldier. |

 Born in Havana, Cuba, Tony Leon launched his singing career with Los Melodicos. He went on to work with the Nińo Rivera Group and the distinguished Modelo de Miguelito Cuni band.
Tony arrived in New York in 1979 and became soloist for renowned trumpeter and orchestra leader Alfredo 'Chocolate' Armenteros. Their album, Prefiero el Son, recorded with S.A.R. Records, went gold. His years with Chocolate included group concerts, where he worked alongside music greats such as Roberto Torres, Linda Leida, Papaito, Alfredito de la Fe, Alfredo Valdes, Jr. and Marino Solano.
In 1987, he became the lead singer for José Fajardo y Sus Estrellas. It was the legendary flutist and band leader, José Antonio Fajardo who gave Tony his title: El Leon del Bolero.
Tony has performed in concerts with Willie Chirino, Ray Baretto, David Valentino, Cachao, Hansel y Raul, Tito Puente and Johnny Pacheco. He continues to delight audiences with his unique voice and mastery of the bolero.

 Fred Scribner, aka Midnight Slim, is a former member of The Levon Helm and is on Helm's "The Midnight Ramble Vol. 1". Scribner was also the driving force behind Little Sammy Davis and Midnight Slim, the House Band for Imus in the Morning Show, for almost 20 years.

 "The Levee" is Pete's 2nd studio recording. "I'm very proud of the record. I think it's a great overview of my roots guitar playing, songwriting and evolution, and I think it will stand the test of time." It was produced by Grammy-nominated Blues guitarist Duke Robillard, who's worked with many music industry legends. Duke wrote, "To those who don't know [Petey] yet, you will soon!"
Petey Hop is equally at home playing down home Blues, Folk, Country and Rockabilly as he is jamming out with blistering Rock and Roll. Petey's originals are powerfully written, musically intriguing and downright fun to listen to. Songs like "Little Johnny", "Westside" and the title track, "The Levee" have been met with high praise. Big Joe Fitz, radio host of of 100.1 Bluesbreak calls Pete "One of the finest guitar players in the Hudson Valley, hands down."
