T. Xiques started gigging as a drummer at age 15 and tours across the US, Canada, Europe and Malaysia with artists like Savoy Brown, Dr.Know and Daryl Jenifer (Bad Brains), Colin Hay and Brother, among others. They call their sound "Organic Pop", a sound they created with their soulful vocals and an assortment of instruments, from piano and acoustic guitar to 5-string bass and cajon drum. Sunday 7:00 pm to 10:00 pm | Detroit Americana duo perform original and traditional music with Lac La Belle Americana, Folk/Traditional, and Acoustic | Spotty Dog Books and Ale 440 Warren Street Hudson, NY See Map |
| Americana duo Lac La Belle, of Detroit, Michigan, juxtaposes the early decades of recorded rural American music with decaying Rustbelt aesthetic. A tradition is re-imagined- or maybe just resumed- in the ‘future-rustic’ swirl of accordion, ukulele, mandolin, banjo, resonator guitar and harmonizing vocals. The instrumentation echos another era, but is employed for a music of now. This will be their third tour through the East Coast since 2010, now traveling in support of their newly released EP, "Bring on the Light". Their newest release boasts six original works, performed with a variety of instruments from accordion to banjitar. Each song presents a melodic tale, be it intimate anecdote or tunes on their hometown Detroit, "Bring on the Light" captures the drifting spirit of early America. | ||

Holly Near is a skilled performer and an outspoken ambassador for peace who brings to the stage an integration of world consciousness, spiritual discovery, and theatricality. Near's professional career began with numerous performances in film, television and a run in the Broadway production of Hair. Torn between a career as an actor or a singer, Holly chose to pursue her love of music, especially that music which articulated the social conditions of the world community. In 1972, Holly Near was one of the first women to create an independent record company. Near's vision was to promote and produce music by politically conscious artists from around the world. Often cited as one of the founders of the "women's music" movement, Holly not only led the way for outspoken women into the music world, but also worked for peace and multicultural consciousness. Near has released 26 recordings of her own, including the seminal Imagine My Surprise, and performs as a guest on many others. More info at the Towne Crier Cafe

Like her famous brother James, folksinger Kate Taylor has shared a love for music since she could remember. Growing up, Taylor shared a dual musical heritage with brothers James, Livingston, Hugh, and Alex, who all became accomplished in music. Because of her Southern upbringing, Taylor music is deeply rooted in the region's soul, gospel, and rockabilly sounds, while the stylings of literate folk, pop, and Appalachian music completed that family's musical legacy. "I've been influenced by many musical traditions and they all weave through what I do," explained Taylor on her official website. "My music has at various times been described as pop, folk, rock, rockabilly, country, gospel and R&B. Growing up in the South, I was exposed to a wonderful diversity of musical styles."

Remaining willfully out of the musical mainstream, Hot Club Of Cowtown has created an international cult following for its sonic personification of joy and unique sound inspired by its namesakes: "Hot Club," from jazz guitarist Django Reinhardt and violinist Stephane Grappelli's Hot Club of France; and "Cowtown," from the western swing influence of Bob Wills & His Texas Playboys.More info at the Towne Crier Cafe

![]() Saturday 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm | Sandy Bailey Acoustic, Singer-Songwriter | Taste Budd's Chocolate and Coffee Cafe 40 West Market Street Red Hook, NY See Map |
| If Sandy Bailey’s music had a taste, it would be a square of good artisan chocolate--sweet, rich, smooth, and soulful. Bailey’s blend of Patty Griffin Americana with the gossamer sonority of Mazzy Star makes for a soothing, vibrant soundscape that has enjoyed much praise and popularity among artistic communities in Western Massachusetts. Having spent her formative years singing gospel music to church congregations, Bailey’s writing style and vocal delivery are rich with the influences of her soulful upbringing. The Daily Hampshire Gazette praises Bailey as "a fully integrated talent, including a strong, emotive voice, a poetic lyric-writing ability, a moody sense of melody and a natural grace at the keyboard.” | ||

Saturday 7:30 pm to 10:00 pm | Vance Gilbert, K.J. Denhert Singer-Songwriter, Folk/Traditional, and Acoustic. Soul | Common Ground at South Presbyterian Church 343 Broadway Dobbs Ferry, NY See Map |
When songwriter Vance Gilbert exploded on the Boston scene, the boom was heard all over New England. News of this bold, infectious performer spread like prairie fire. No local performer in recent memory, not Tracy Chapman, not Dar Williams – has gotten hotter faster than Gilbert...His catchy, pop friendly melodies support keenly crafted, hard- hitting lyrics. His guitar is supple, his milk-warm tenor honest and gently acrobatic...he does not duck hard truths and never succumbs to the temptation to tie his points up in neat platitudes or truthisms. He is that rare performer for whom people lean forward in their seats as eagerly between songs as they do during them. Opening the evening is KJ Denhert. KJ's performances will move you to laugh, to dance and even to cry. Her special blend of urban folk & jazz has earned her four Independent Music Award nominations and in '09, she was named as one of Jazz.com's top female vocalists.
