Keepin' it real. (No small feat in Woodstock!!)
This is a wonderful farmers market (aren't they all?). All local flowers, produce, baked goods, wine, crafts, and sweet summer air! I hope you come on this Fourth of July weekend celebration of all good things.
The Reddan Brothers are a hard hitting blues/rock trio with the miles to back it. The Reddan Brothers grew up backing legends of blues and rock such as Bill Perry, Popa Chubby and Jimmy Vivino. With their newly released CD “Skeleton Key Sessions” those road miles seem to be put to good use. The group has been seen on such high profile gigs as Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble, Winchester Blues House Festival and the Blues on the Bridge Festival. The youthful energy of the band mixed with seasoned playing makes them a must see trio.
Ladies and gentleman: introducing Greene Co.'s newest band ::: Guitar'd & Feather'd. The band is: Eddie Fingerhut on lead vocals & guitar, Tom Flowerman on lead guitar, Alan Herskowitz on drums and Kevin Williams on bass. This is a band to get you up dancing and enjoying great music. From unique interpretations of classic rock, blues & standards to rockin' originals there are songs for every one. Rockin' electric music as it's sopposed to be - in your face & with an attitude. Melissa has performed at several of our singer/songwriter showcases, including our 500th Performance event in 2010. She's been performing more and more around Westchester, and other musicians are starting to take notice. Melissa has recently been accepted to SUNY New Paltz as a performance major. Melissa says her favorite quote is from Friedrich Nietzsche "Without music, life would be a mistake." We couldn't agree more.

Lugwrench is comprised of seasoned pros who set out to create something new, fresh & original. The result is what has come to be known as "The Lugwrench Sound" ...a sound that's been described as "big, bright and full of life," as well as "beautiful, heavy and awe inspiring." It's danceable too! Whether they're playing their original music or covering songs by other artists, they do it in a way that is truly their own. Jimmy Silva & Jeff Comulada, on bass & drums, create a solid rhythm section that allows guitarist Steve O'Rourke the room he needs to create ambient soundscapes & melodic solos with passion & intensity. Utility man Rock Guerrero fills in the gaps on guitar, keyboards and harmonica, allowing frontman/vocalist Jim Brancato the freedom to lay down his strong impressive vocal parts. Most importantly, they do all this while having fun and putting on a show that is quite enjoyable.

The Temple Dudes will be appearing at Woodbury Common Premium Outlets on Monday July 4th as part of their Summer Music Series.
The Temple Dudes feature Ken Blumberg (guitars, vocals, harmonica), Barry Kanarek (bass, keyboards and vocals), Bruce Pollack (drums, percussion and "hats"), Amy Kanarek (vocals) and Rose Pollack (flute), and will be performing a wide selection of classic rock and folk.

Our Kids' Open Mic is a showcase for talented musicians and singers age 17 and under. Bring your guitar, bass, sax, flute or whatever instrument you play. We have a drum kit, keyboard, guitar & bass amps and microphones. Our Kids' Open Mic has become a popular favorite, and is always full of surprises and incredible talent. Plus, EVERY Wednesday is our Wednesday Night $10 Burger Special. So bring the whole family and enjoy great food and great musical fun. Sign-up for Kids' Open Mic begins at 6:30. Chris songwriting style encompasses a wide swath influences including folk, blues, 60's and 70's rock, and current alternative bands. His unique synthesis of these roots has created a sound that is fresh and wholly original, with songs distinguished by their compelling melodies, sophisticated chord structures and captivating lyrics. Chris' bamd MOJO MONDE, performs regularly in the New York area and features some of the best musicains on the scene.
Three tribute bands will revisit this infamous 1973 music festival - The THE BAND Band (The Band), Reflections (Grateful Dead), and The Peach Project (Allman Brothers) - on the grounds of beautiful Warwick Valley Winery.
THE DISTANT BOYS were invited to join a fabulous roster of performers for the annual LIBRARY JAM in the ANNEX of the Millerton Library. A really nice room with great acoustics. As 2011 chugs down the tracks, Chatham's Summerfest is back, and the Paul Miller Quartet will be kicking things off at 2pm from Lipperas front porch. Later, from 8 to 11 pm, they'll be playing again at the Peint O Gwrw as Jim Nelson makes the night's Last Call. If you're already a believer in SNARF, they are looking forward to seeing you this weekend. If you have never heard the band before, we warmly invite you to dig in and have a double serving of what EVERYBODY has been talking about. Okay, maybe not EVERYBODY, but there are a few of you out there! Well, okay fair enough! I once heard somebody talking about something, and it might have been the music this three piece quartet plays, the mysterious genre of SNARF. What is SNARF? It's too complicated to get into here, and besides, nobody really knows. But everyone likes how it sounds and feels! Come down to Lipperas on Rte. 66, and get some!
