OPEN TO ALL LEVELS OF MUSICAL EXPERIENCE
$75, including lunch The workshop will be open to all who are interested regardless of musical experience, from those who are being exposed to harmonic singing for the first time to experienced practitioners who wish to immerse themselves at a deeper level. While the core of the workshop will be grounded in an earthy, practical approach to the voice, and in experiencing some of the more striking phenomena at the root of harmony, we will also discuss the simple yet profound mathematics of the overtone series and the foundation it provides for a deeper understanding of music. In addition, we will touch briefly on the light that a knowledge of harmonic singing sheds on the roots of language; correspondences with contemporary science; harmonic chant and listening as meditation; and its use in healing. more info and directions | ||
