Pop/Soft Rock
Towne Crier Cafe
130 Route 22
Pawling, NY   See Map
The New York Times called international recording artist Nenad Bach "a cross between Lou Reed and Elton John." Nenad has performed with Bono, The Edge, Luciano Pavarotti, Rick Danko and Richie Havens, among others. Nenad played at Woodstock in '94 and he recently completed a tour of Australia, Japan and China. Two of his albums reached #1 in Europe, and to date he has sold over 1 million records. His current CD, All I Want is Freedom, is a potent shot of rock infused with heart & soul, packed with provocative lyrics calling back the ethos of the sixties; unafraid to question, determined to seek answers, in a rousing call to action that electrifies, galvanizes, and at the same time mesmerizes.

Blues musicians are invited to participate in the Jam, and we ask for your generosity in honoring your fellow musician.

Charlie was a long-time member of the band, "A Little Bit of This, A Little Bit of That" with his dear friend, Tommy Dabbs. Another of his good friends, Eric Haight, had this to say about Charlie: "When I would question my skill, or lose confidence, he would right my ship... Charlie said to me 'Nobody can ever play what you play better than you can play it'." Tom Dudley added: "He was a Bad Man on that guitar. He will always live on in the music."

"New York Boss Guitar Man" Dave Fields is a "genre-busting" Blues guitarist and virtuoso whose performances are always electrifying, awe-inspiring and intensely passionate. Dave Rubin from Guitar Edge Magazine writes, "Dave rocks hard, rolls with rollicking R&B and swings like a zoot-suited jive cat." Bottom line: Dave will get you rockin' and rollin' with the Blues.

Dave Fields has worked with many musical legends including Aretha Franklin, Lenny Kravitz, Sean Lennon, The Drifters and Tommy James. Dave has three CD's to his credit and performs many originals that keeps his audience dancing all night long. C'mon y'all... Let's Have a Ball!

Lawrence Anthony ("LA" as he is affectionately known) has been entertaining for a long time. The power and seduction of music drew LA to sing, play and entertain. Combine Barry White, Teddy Pendergrass and James Brown, and you get LA's signature style: "old school romance" and soulful, heart-pounding funk! His unique registry as a bass/baritone singer brings passion and fire to the romantic songs that are an important part of this musical experience. LA has performed with the legendary Intruders as well as on many "Motown Review" assignments. He is currently the bass/baritone singer and co-founder of "Tradition", a wonderful "classic soul" singing group. LA has been heard as a radio personality on his own "Quite Storm" show on 91.1 WOSS in New York. He has been seen in commercials and on documentaries for public and commercial television.

If you love to dance to classic Motown tunes, don't miss this performance!
