Jim Paradis has been playing in bands since he picked up his first bass guitar when he was 13. He's no stranger to all types of music and has played in bands of all styles from a progressive rock garage band to a down and dirty touring Rock and Roll band. Even in those early days he was often involved in original music but, in 1993, after a haitus from music, he got reacquainted with his muse by recording a song he had written for his family called "Juniper Knoll". "It was enough of a rush to want to keep on doing it" he says.
Since then Jim has written hundreds of songs, recorded 3 CD's with October Moon, 2 solo Cds, "You Are Here", an inspirational look at life, and, "Almost Home", a journey through several significant life changes and the ups and downs that inevitably accompany those changes. Not interested in waiting that long again between CD's, Jim is currently in the studio working on his next CD, "Not Finished Yet" due for a late Spring 2011 release. |

Slide guitar legend Sonny Landreth also performed on Geoff's recently released CD, "Hate to See You Go".

Christine Dominguez, from Newburgh, NY, co-authored this year's Grammy nominated hit song "Airplanes" by B.o.B and is collaborating with artists and producers in the Hip Hop/Urban community where her distinct and soulful vocals are in demand. T. Xiques grew up in Putnam Valley, an only child in a musical family. He started gigging as a professional drummer at age 15 and continued to tour across the US, Canada, Europe and Malaysia with artists like Savoy Brown, Dr.Know and Daryl Jenifer (Bad Brains), Colin Hay and Brother, among others. WeMustBe has written and produced two singles, "Pop Tune" & "Waiting", and are collaborating with other independent artists while working on their debut album.

The seven-piece lineup includes banjo, fiddle, sax, trombone, ukulele, bass drum and tuba, with three members contributing vocals. Songs range widely in feeling and style, drawing on the sounds of Balkan brass bands, old time folk, soul, do-wop, punk, metal, early jazz, and modern dance pop. The band released its first EP, Underwater, in 2010, and will release a full-length debut this spring. |

 The Woodstock Quantum Ensemble is the brainchild of guitarist Johnny Asia. This freewheeling, improvisation based ensemble utilizes electric and acoustic instruments to channel "sounds of the universe" through thematic composition, sonic landscapes and global rhythms. This incarnation features Gus Mancini (reeds) Damon Banks (electric bass) and Joakim Lartey (percussion) This group will be making its debut recording in the fall of 2011.
Holland Hopson/James Keepnews is a duo that has been involved in electro-acoustic improvisation for the past 15 years, beginning when they met in the electronics arts graduate program (iEAR) at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. HH/JK's CD Hunting and Gathering, "improvised-to-ADAT", was celebrated for its cutting edge explorations of instrumental and electronic improvised music. Their BSP performance in June will be their first appearance as a duo in over five years. |

An exciting night of creative electro-acoustic improvised music will be unleashed in Kingston, NY on Friday, June 3rd at 7:30 PM. Admission will be $15 at the door and $10 for students and seniors with valid ID.
The Woodstock Quantum Ensemble is the brainchild of guitarist Johnny Asia. This freewheeling, improvisation based ensemble utilizes electric and acoustic instruments to channel "sounds of the universe" through thematic composition, sonic landscapes and global rhythms. This incarnation features Gus Mancini (reeds) Damon Banks (electric bass) and Joakim Lartey (percussion) This group will be making its debut recording in the fall of 2011.

 Kevin McKrell is returning with his new, super-charged band, Train Of Fools! Kevin McKrell has been a founding member of some very popular bands -- first and foremost Celtic group Donnybrook Fair, and his namesake band, Celtic Bluegrass band The McKrells. This singer/songerwriter has appeared on the stage of Carnegie Hall to standing ovations, and has shared other stages with the Furey Brothers, The Battlefield Band, Altan, Mary Black, Solas, Travis Tritt, Lonestar, Allison Krause and Sam Bush, to name a few. He has performed at many of the top Irish, Bluegrass and Folk Festivals. His musical talents have been showcased all over the U.S. and Ireland. His songs have been recorded and performed by many groups, including Irish favorites The Furey Brothers and Seamus Kennedy, Scottish favorites North Sea Gas, Irish American favs Hair of the Dog, Pat McKernan from Australia and, most recently, folk giants The Kingston Trio.

Charlie Scott was one of the great ones. He died while doing what he loved most... playing his guitar. And he played it like no one else could. This Memorial Blues Jam will benefit Charlie's family. Blues musicians are invited to participate in the Jam, and we ask for your generosity in honoring your fellow musician.
We are offering a five-week PERFORMANCE OPPORTUNITY PROGRAM (POP) to women who love to sing and who have dreamed of performing. The program involves attendance at five weekly chorus rehearsals on Tuesdays, from May 31st through June 28th; participating in FREE weekly vocal lessons to learn about the art of four-part, a cappella singing; learning patriotic songs with the group; and PERFORMING WITH THE CHORUS AT THE GREAT AMERICAN WEEKEND IN GOSHEN, NY, ON JULY 2ND! Rehearsals are currently being held at the Moulton Memorial Baptist Church Social Hall, Old Little Britain Road, Newburgh. The Reddan Brothers are a hard hitting blues/rock trio with the miles to back it. The Reddan Brothers grew up backing legends of blues and rock such as Bill Perry, Popa Chubby and Jimmy Vivino.
