His music can range from uplifting to haunting, inspirational to gothic. It reaches across many different genres of music and appeals to a wide range of listeners. Drawing his inspiration from individual experience and inner reflection, James’ debut album Reality of the Fantasy is a deeply personal affair, and much of it has an air of melancholy, anger and the regrets and frustrations of everyday life. At the same time, Reality of the Fantasy is a collection of songs that is a quest to find harmony in a world of dissonance and discord, creating a calming, soothing yet hypnotic quality to the music for the listener to experience. .

They are masters at choosing just the right lyrics to fit perfectly with the music to create the feeling they want to share with you, whether it's a song about a great joy in life, or a person who has fallen on hard times. If you close your eyes and listen, you actually become part of the song.

A fiercely independent and original artist, Fred Eaglesmith's devoted fans follow him from one show to another to savor what one reviewer calls the "fury and fun" of his concerts -- frequently as hilarious as the best stand-up comedians. Drawing from folk, country, rock, gospel, old-time music and bluegrass (he's the only Canadian to ever write a #1 bluegrass hit), Eaglesmith's 17 albums over the last three decades have consistently evoked critical raves while also hitting the upper reaches of americana charts. He's been compared to a broad blue-ribbon list of musical icons, and his fellow songwriters regularly record his songs and sing his praises. Martin Scorsese and James Caan have used his compositions in film projects. His songs have even become part of the course curriculum at two colleges, and the paintings he creates have been shown in numerous prestigious galleries. The New Yorker magazine said it best: "If you're missing Eaglesmith, you're really missing out."More info at the Towne Crier Cafe

The Reddan Brothers are a hard hitting blues/rock trio with the miles to back it. The Reddan Brothers grew up backing legends of blues and rock such as Bill Perry, Popa Chubby and Jimmy Vivino. With their newly released CD “Skeleton Key Sessions” those road miles seem to be put to good use. The group has been seen on such high profile gigs as Levon Helm’s Midnight Ramble, Winchester Blues House Festival and the Blues on the Bridge Festival. The youthful energy of the band mixed with seasoned playing makes them a must see trio.Directions
