 In high demand, Art, founder of A2D, has performed with Chuck Mangione, Doc Severinsen, Jeff Tyzick, The Dixie Cups, Pee Wee Ellis, Barbra Mason, Loretta Holloway, Buster Cooper, Dennis Wilson, Ray Blue and multi-instrumentalist David Amram. Deeply called by drums, he performed for over seven years with "A Few Bad Apples," three years with the "Jazz Connection", "Counterpoint," and formed a jazz trio called "Orisha"-an African word referring to the spirit of the god. In 2002-2003, Art was also the drummer for the national tour of "Ain't Misbehavin'".
Doug Smith, a phenomenal keyboardist, is a cornerstone of the music community in Peekskill. A key player in the One Station Plaza Jazz Jams, Doug has played with numerous jazz greats. He joined A2D, with Art Hightower on drums, Bill Conway on bass and Christopher Reising on guitar last year, rounding out an already amazing jazz group.

 In a performance that will prove enlightening to even the most ardent music fans, the New Zion Trio debuts their unique blend of acoustic ambient jazz reggae at the Stockade Tavern on Sunday, February 20. The band will perform one set from 5 to 7pm. The performance is free and open to the public, and the Stockade will offer cash bar service. Stockade Tavern is located at 313 Fair Street in Uptown Kingston, between North Front and John Streets, immediately opposite the Senate House historic site. The New Zion Trio consists of Jamie Saft (piano,) Larry Grenadier (bass) and Craig Santiago (drums.) All the musicians are based in Ulster County and this performance previews a European tour later this spring. One of the most versatile musicians around, Petey Hop is equally at home playing down home Blues, Folk, Country, Rockabilly as he is jamming out with blistering Rock and Roll. His original songs are powerfully written, musically intriguing and downright fun to listen to. Songs like "Mountain", "GI Blues" and our favorite, "Talk".
Mishti Roy has a voice that is unique, soulful and moving, and her guitar playing is just as incredible. If you haven't had the pleasure of hearing Mishti sing, you're missing out on one of the finest vocalists in the Hudson Valley. When she takes to the drums, she offers up another level of talent that will keep you riveted.

| Singer Debra Cowan is one of America's foremost interpreters of contemporary and traditional folksongs. Debra has two acclaimed solo recordings to her credit, “The Long Grey Line” and “Dad's Dinner Pail”. Her third recording, “Fond Desire Farewell” was produced by former Fairport Convention drummer Dave Mattacks. Debra has delighted audiences in folk music venues and festivals all over North America and the United Kingdom and makes her home near Worcester, MA.

Kirtan is the practice of devotional singing to the Divine through the use of Sanskrit mantras. A form of ‘bhakti’ yoga (the yoga of devotion), this powerful, transformational spiritual practice is considered an easy path to liberation. Kirtan opens the heart, purifies the entire being and the surrounding atmosphere and stills the mind.
Held the 3rd Thursday of every month, our Rock Jam is hosted by members of 'The Track' with special guests and alternates. All members are local singer songwriters who have come together in their love of ROCK. With Drew Bordeaux, the house guitarist/MC who occasionally switches it up on violin and bass, Rich Kelly on bass, Chris Burke on keys and Tito Wilson on drums and vocals. Bring your band or just you and join in the jam. Great musicians, and a great time had by all. Sign-up begins 8pm.
