And...he can write a hook that could make angels weep." His sideman credits include Jules Shear, Loudon Wainwright III, Dan Zanes, The Roches, Crash Test Dummies and Marshall Crenshaw. Saturday 8:00 pm to 11:00 pm | The PMQ begins 3rd year at Peint O Gwrw with The Paul Miller Quartet SNARF | Peint O Gwrw 36 Main Street Chatham, NY See Map |
Chatham's Peint O Gwrw will feature once again the sound of sublime harmonic & rhythmic invention when for the 3rd year in a row, the PMQ takes the bandstand once (sometimes twice) a month to guide listeners through a reflective musical excursion at just the right volume and intensity to match the evening's own dynamics. The band's SNARF-driven performance will be, as always, there to give your soul what it needs to feel complete. Knowing that musical genius only survives if allowed to grow, the band is courageously meeting the challenge, using Paul Reed's cymbals as the plow to turn the nutrient-rich soil of Eric Miller's vibrating bass strings, in order to nurture the sonic landscape of Paul Trap's "guitartistry". Upon hearing this, Paul Miller himself, in a rare public statement, commented "What? Huh? Did you say 'guitartistry'? I like that! It's good, very good!" | ||
