 Bill Saxton's music career spans from the late 1960’s to today. He has appeared and/or recorded with jazz giants, including Roy Haynes, Jackie McLean, Clark Terry, Nancy Wilson, The Duke Ellington Orchestra, The Count Basie Orchestra, Frank Foster, Carmen McRae, Mongo Santa Maria, Roy Ayers, Barry Harris, Tito Puente, and Charles Tolliver. Bill has composed more than 80 musical compositions, of which "Beneath the Surface", "One for Booker", and "Priorities" earned a three star rating and critical acclaim in Downbeat and BeBop and Beyond Magazine.
Touted internationally as “the only well-know woman bassist in Jazz of her generation”, New York's own Kim Clarke and friend Rob Scheps formed the MAGNETS in 1997. In 2000, the band recorded “MAGNETS! Live at the Earshot Jazz Festival” in Seattle which Kim co-produced with long-time Defunkt bandmate, trumpeter John Mulkerin. Kim performs on the Acoustic Bass, Electric Upright and four and five-stringed Electric Bass Guitar.

Kingston Waterfront Event at Steel House Includes The Honest Mistakes, Altered Walter, 3 Olives Vodka
KINGSTON, NY – Kingston venue Steel House will play host to a festive concert and summer-party event on Saturday, July 10, featuring live musical performances by the heralded Catskill Mountains’ folk-blues-rock quartet The Honest Mistakes, and gritty-yet-groovy funk/rock trio Altered Walter. Show starts promptly at 10pm. Steel House is located at 100 Rondout Landing, Kingston (East Strand).
As part of the evening’s festivities, the 3 Olives Vodka girls will be at Steel House during the show: they will have prizes, and they will be giving away stuff. 3 Olives Vodka will be available at Steel House, at a special, promotional price throughout the event.
Steel House is equipped with multiple beer-pong tables and features an optimum beer-pong playing environment. Beer-pong starts at 10pm. The venue will offer $5 pitchers of domestic drafts. DON'T MISS OUT!!
