From the Hudson and the Catskills, to the rural South, by way of the big clipper ships, the far east and the British Isles, Bob Lusk's songs encompass the whole world and hundreds of songs.
A veteran of both the Irish and American folk circuit, Bob is an experienced balladeer and multi-instrumentalist. He sings in a strong baritone, from rousing "pub song" favorites to tender love songs and accompanies himself on guitar, cittern, banjo, and button accordion.
Like the minstrels of old, he performs songs that weave a tale of people’s history. His songs also reflect a strong social conscience and a lifetime of working for peace, justice and social action. He is a long time member of the Hudson Valley Folk Guild, and a former staff member of Sing Out! Magazine, the country’s premier folk music magazine.

We're working on an answer. Why "quartet" when we are a trio? Here's the current answer to that question, and it's a pretty good one (existentially speaking, that is). The fourth member is you, the listener. If there are a room full of listeners, then the whole room is potentially the fourth member. Mark has performed with Clay Aiken, Jon Faddis, Rita Moreno, Carol Channing, Lynn Seaton, Greg Bissonette, Ed Soph, Andrea McArdle, Frank Mantooth, Al Martino, Bobby Rydell, The Coasters, and The Platters.
Leading his own group for the past 20 years, the Mark Tonelli Group has performed at the 55 Bar, The Ft. Worth Jazz Festival, The Cottonwood Art Festival, The Dallas Museum of Art, and more.
The group was featured on the inaugural season of the award-winning and innovative web show The Digital Cafe Tour, and has released two critically-acclaimed CD's, The Mark Tonelli Group and Chasing The Myth.
Mark's music has been featured on National Public Radio (NPR), and he has won composition awards from Billboard Magazine.

 Probably the Hudson Valley's best example of the SNARF movement in contemporary music, the Paul Miller Quartet (once known as THREE AWAY) is still a three piece band. Referring to themselves as a quartet is the trio's way of letting the listener know that he or she shares an equal part in creating the music they are hearing. You, the listener, join the three performers by actively taking in what they are playing and in doing so, make it a quartet. By always adding more material to their repertoire, much of it original, the PMQ continue to unfold artistically as they form a tighter bond with their audience by encouraging them to become part of the creative process.
