Gwenyth Epstein, a Rondout Valley High School senior organized the event for her WISE (Wise Individualized Senior Experience) project. Tickets will cost $5 and all proceeds will go to the Rondout Valley music booster club, which will provide a scholarship for music students who cannot afford to rent an instrument or take private lessons. The event will take place at High Meadow School Performing Arts Center located on 643 Main St, Stone Ridge. All are welcome to come.

Maliha, a photographer and artist, and Rust, a bassist/musician, combine their love of photography and music to bring a collaborative performance combining live music and photography.
Special guests will also be present to share in their collaborative efforts.
This event will, in part, benefit the local Alzheimer’s chapter.
In support of the local chapter, a presentation will be shared of work being developed between Maliha and Rust that will share another facet of their collaborative efforts,

 Ellis Paul is one of the leading voices in American songwriting. He was a principle leader in the wave of singer/songwriters that emerged from the Boston folk scene, creating a movement that revitalized the national acoustic circuit with an urban, literate, folk pop style that helped renew interest in the genre in the 1990s. Ellis' charismatic, personally authentic performance style has influenced a generation of artists away from the artifice of pop, and closer towards the realness of folk. Though he remains among the most pop-friendly of today's singer-songwriters - his songs regularly appear in hit movie and TV soundtracks - he has bridged the gulf between the modern folk sound and the populist traditions of Woody Guthrie and Pete Seeger more successfully than perhaps any of his songwriting peers.

It's difficult to choose a favorite, as every selection has so much to offer. 'Think' is philosophical and smart with a modern edge; 'Montana' is country -- simple and clean, with pitch-perfect harmony, and 'No Hard Feelings' is sad and sweet. We loved the catchy 'Six O'Clock,' too. This music inhabits both the past and the here and now, simultaneously -- a rare feat for a band that is a rare find."

 Jazz saxophonist, Hayes Greenfield, joins Ratzo Harris (six string bass) and Bob Meyer (drums) for an evening not soon to be forgotten.
Hayes has headlined at the Blue Note, Birdland, the Knitting Factory, and CBGB’s. He has recorded critically acclaimed CDs and toured extensively in Europe. He has played with Jaki Byard, Rashied Ali, Paul Bley, Barry Altschul, and Richie Havens among others.
Ratzo Harris - a 1984 National Endowment for the Arts recipient, 1995 Thelonius Monk Competition Semi-finalist and past contributing columnist for Bass Player magazine - is considered an innovative bassist who has worked with some of the greatest musicians of our time.
Bob Meyer, jazz drummer, has recorded numerous albums/CDs and performed with Joe Lovano, Ed Schuller, Ken Werner, Judy Silvano, Perry Robinson, Glenn Moore, Cameron Brown, Andy Statman, and Shelila Jordan.

Rescheduled from April...The effervescent Melinda DiMaio joins us this time around. To describe her eclectic musical style Melinda has coined the phrase "JaFoCo”. Her music fuses elements of jazz, folk, and country. With a vocal quality that draws from a rich palette of shades and hues, DiMaio’s sound has been described as Patsy Cline meets Joni Mitchell.
We'll put Melinda in the Lo-Fi Blender and see what
