The magic of a Hootenanny is that performers are coming together to spontaneously share their folk traditions on stage in front of a live audience, who is also singing (and perhaps playing) along with them.” Rich Bala –- Jim Donnelly– Bob Lusk - Terri Masardo - Norm Wennet – Hank Yost - Bruce Blair - Bob Horan - David Howells - Pat Keating - Pat LaManna - Norm Wennet -Phil Miller – Melissa Ortquist - Deb Martin – Kingston Sea Chantey Singers – Enrico Skull - Linda Lewis Grigg In addition to the music, the event will include an auction of musical items and folk music memorabilia Heritage Folk Music

Symbolism, imagery, collage and paint are the themes and mediums that Victor Littlejohn uses in his artwork to explore painful social and economic perspectives from the recent past. It serves as a potent reminder of the psychological effects of suppression that remains a veiled specter in today's society. Tactile layers of news media, quilt work, and metal combined with painting, result in a collage that convey overlapping ideas from the past and the present. Ideas of simplistic beauty, desire, hope and fortitude in the collective soul of black women.
