Railroad Earth’s music is driven by the remarkable songs of front-man, Todd Sheaffer, and is delivered with seamless arrangements and superb musicianship courtesy of all six band members. They can jam with the best of them, but they’re not a jam band. They’re bluegrass influenced, but they use drums and amplifiers (somewhat taboo in the bluegrass world).

"Even in the new millenium, Railroad Earth's instantly classic sounding songs and timeless vocals could sound at home in any generation." (Felton Pruitt - XM Satellite Radio)

Blues guitarist-singer Debbie Davies first gained widespread notice during her three years with the late Albert Collins' band, The Icebreakers. Her roles included solo & rhythm guitar, vocalist and guitar "duelist" with Collins, who called her "a great guitar player who sure can play the blues." She has worked with blues icons like B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Koko Taylor and John Mayall (who gave her a rare and unequivocal endorsement). Her gritty vocals and searing guitar work have drawn comparisons to Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan.

If you wanna be swept off your feet, don't miss this show.

Who are these guys? George Quinn on mandolin, Walter Dominicis on guitar, David Strahl on bass, and Jimmy Jumpers on percussion. Janet of PH3 says: "You have to be great with a line up like that!" Find out just how good!

Delicious, reasonably priced, home-made comfort food (soups, salads, entrees) and desserts and smoothies and coffees and teas and KILLER ginger brownies are available all evening long, so it's a good idea to come hungry and bring your friends!

Singer-Songwriter, Roots Music
Towne Crier Cafe
130 Route 22
Pawling, NY   See Map
Perhaps most recognized for his work with Carly Simon, PETER CALO has also recorded and performed with such legendary Grammy Award winning artists as James Taylor, Hall & Oats and renowned record producer Phil Ramone, to mention only a few. "Peter's guitar needs no limelight. Peter is an extreme virtuoso, and he's so easygoing, which keeps things relaxed onstage. He can improvise better than anyone, I think, and when he solos it always seems to be a natural thing." - Carly Simon (New York Times interview) "Peter Calo...is a masterful guitarist" - The Boston Globe

Recipe for DUSTY: Start with three veteran songstresses (Deborah Berg, Sherryl Marshall, and Lesley Miller) blending close harmonies and vocal styles with their original songs, as well as classic popular songs. Add their country-swing backing band and mix in a touch of Island reggae, and you have the recipe for Dusty.
