About the instructors: Denise Jordan Finley has taught Performance, Composition and Voice in schools, theaters, and workshops. She has studied songwriting with Bob Franke, Steve Gillette, and Michael Smith, and has earned numerous awards for her songwriting both regionally and internationally, including "Outstanding Achievement in Songwriting" from the Great American Songwriting Competition, and a three catagory sweep at the Walnut Valley Festival. Daniel Pagdon has made a lifelong career of playing contra bass guitar with musicians such as Todd Wolfe, Paul Carbonara, Bobby Whitlock, and Mick Taylor. He has taught guitar methods, and has an impressive resume of record producing and studio side work to his credit. | ||

For a number of years now vocalist Audrey Silver has been impressing audiences all over New York City as a warm and sensitive stylist. A four-month engagement at the Mansfield Hotel's M Bar readied her for last year's five-month run at Club Finley's vocals, show expression coming from a full life of observation, compassion, sorrow and joy... Her guitar work emerges as uncommonly intricate, harmonically compelling, and rhythmically powerful. Contra Bass Guitarist, Daniel Pagdon, discovered his instrument at the age of 11, and hasn't put it down since. Both are self-taught in their craft.
