A four-month engagement at the Mansfield Hotel's M Bar readied her for last year's five-month run at Club Finley's vocals, show expression coming from a full life of observation, compassion, sorrow and joy... Her guitar work emerges as uncommonly intricate, harmonically compelling, and rhythmically powerful. Contra Bass Guitarist, Daniel Pagdon, discovered his instrument at the age of 11, and hasn't put it down since.
Both are self-taught in their craft. Between them they have over three decades of playing music for live audiences in concert halls, small venues, and festivals.

The Swinging Set Jazz Collaborative plays in and around Upper Westchester County including the tri-state area. Christine Sotmary, bass player and organizer, conceived of the Swinging Set Jazz Collaborative as an extended family. The musicians, local to the Hudson Valley, are working together to enrich Peekskill as an active performing arts base and the group’s motto is Peekskill Swings.
