 The Hudson Valley is happy to welcome this Virginia based Singer Songwriter, with his poignant and very humerous repertoire of songs. The public is invited to his concert following his workshop, noted above.
Greg Trafidlo has performed on over 50 albums, including twelve of his own with folk trio, Trifolkal. He has penned numerous songs and won many song writing competitions. Greg has shared the stage with Emmylou Harris, Kathy Mattea, Bill Monroe, Peter Yarrow, John Prine, and many others. Numerous performers including Pete Seeger, Denise Jordan Finley, and Steve Gillette and Cindy Mangsen, have performed his songs.
He recently performed at the historic, Ryman Auditorium during Fan Fair in Nashville. Greg has two Wammy nominations, for best Folk Male Vocalist and Best Folk Album. Roanoke, Virginias', City Magazine, named him Music Person of the Decade.
He is also certified as an advanced trainer in the Bonny Method of Guided Imagery and Music (Music Evoked imagery).

The Montgomery Youth Movement Council is an organziation comprised of government officials, citizens and youth within the Town of Montgomery, Village of Walden, Village of Maybrook and the Village of Montgomery. Their primary focus is providing assistance and support for those at risk youth within the community.
Admission is $5.00 There will be a 50/50 raffle, a merchandise raffle, T-shirt sales plus more!
All proceeds with go to the Montgomery Youth Movement Council.
There will also be drink specials along with a special bar menu for this event.

Grammy-nominated keyboardist Jon Cobert is back for another great night of song. Jon Cobert's bio reads like the Who's Who of the record industry. He has recorded and played with John Lennon (no kidding), Bruce Springsteen, Jackson Browne, Dion, Tom Chapin, Harry Chapin, Pete Seeger, Dionne Warwick, John Denver, Judy Collins, Chubby Checker, Al Green, Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen (no kidding!), the list goes on and on. In addition to touring and recording, he has written music for both TV and radio including the ESPN Baseball Tonight theme, the ESPN College Football Game Day theme, and jingles for NBC sports, Dr. Pepper, Budweiser, and many others. Come have fun with Jon as he warms his way into our hearts.
The Blues Dogs are made up of Al Frankel on Vocals & Blues harp, Eric Haight on Lead Guitar, Les Bloome on Bass and Gary Schwartz on Drums. Cloud 9 has recently grown into their own. With a style of music that is equally satisfying on both cd or live at shows. Comprised of six musicians whos goal is to stretch genres and create a new vibe of music that lends equally to tight instrumental as well as catchy word play. With shows that drive hard energy anthems combined with mellow mood crowd pleasers the band has constructed a sound that has made the music experience fun again. Cloud 9 is going places, this is not a pompus statement from the boys but rather a true to life claim of there recent influx of shows reaching as far as Texas. Though the band is in its infancy as far as it's life span all members are seasoned vets of other projects and together deliver a sound that is catchy and new. Still bein easy but now in your neck of the woods.

Danny Paisley & The Southern Grass are perhaps the best traditional Bluegrass band in the United States today. This will be their first appearance in Rockland County and their first ever house concert.
Danny is the son of legendary Bob Paisley and took over leadership of the band when his father passed away 5 years ago. He has since raised the level of this already famous group to new heights and has recorded 2 albums on the Rounder label. Our guest emcee for the afternoon will be Carol Beaugard, host of the radio station WFDU FM program " Lonesome Pine RFD". The suggested donation for this event is $20 per person.
