Joe plays 6 and 12-string guitar, Jerry plays bass and guitar and Eric is our drummer extraordinaire.

 Kairos is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, and our concert program features highlights from the group’s vast repertoire of a cappella choral music, including Hugo Wolf’s lushly romantic Sechs Geistliche Lieder, Benjamin Britten’s exquisite Hymn to St. Cecilia (on a poem by W. H. Auden), and Samuel Barber’s beautifully crafted settings of Irish poetry, Reincarnations. In honor of the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson’s voyage, the program also includes works by Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, the leading Dutch composer of the early 17th century (and a contemporary of Hudson's), and modern Dutch composers Ton de Leeuw and Julius Rontgen. Solo pianist & composer, Louis Landon from Chestnut Ridge, New York, has dedicated his life to music. His career has taken him around the world playing a variety of styles with some of the most recognized names in the entertainment industry.  Kairos is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year, and our concert program features highlights from the group’s vast repertoire of a cappella choral music, including Hugo Wolf’s lushly romantic Sechs Geistliche Lieder, Benjamin Britten’s exquisite Hymn to St. Cecilia (on a poem by W. H. Auden), and Samuel Barber’s beautifully crafted settings of Irish poetry, Reincarnations. In honor of the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson’s voyage, the program also includes works by Jan Pieterszoon Sweelinck, the leading Dutch composer of the early 17th century (and a contemporary of Hudson's), and modern Dutch composers Ton de Leeuw and Julius Rontgen. Tickets are $12 general, $10 HHS Members, $8 students/seniors.

The Java Jam is an open mic style jam session. Any performers who come to the Java Jam can come perform with a group, perform by themselves, or perform with any other musicans that are in the house. So if you play an instrument, whether it be drums, percussion, keys, guitar, bass, or any other instrument (or even if you dont!), come out to the Java Jam, hang out, sip a cup of Joe, or curl up with a book, and enjoy the music. 
The High Strung Community Chamber orchestra will be performing at Ulster County Community College on May 11, 2009 at 7:30 pm. with it's relatively new partner - New Strings. High Strung is in it's 8th season and still going strong! 
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that swing! And The Westchester Swing Band has got it all. First-time patrons are blown away by the sound and songs of this 18-piece orchestra. Classic Swing music, wonderful vocals, full horn section and world-class musicians.
