We definitely need your help with this one. We will be playing for the family of little Sophia Farina who is 3 years old and has been diagnosed on December 24, 2008 with Leukemia.

To date she has had four surgeries has has been going through regular treatments of chemotherapy along with bone marrow extractions.

She is starting to lose her hair but her spirits are up. She faces chemotherapy treatments for the next two years.

We are doing our part to help the family with expenses while Sophia is recovering. A $5.00 admission fee will charged with all proceeds going to the Farina family. There will be a 50/50 raffle along with t-shirts for sale. Again, with all proceeds going to the Farina family.

We are reaching out to our loyal followers and brothers and sisters in the music circuit. We are hoping for a good turnout.

A special account has been set up for Sophia at Highland Falls HSBC Bank, 195 Main St. Highland Falls, NY 10928 (845) 446-6001.

Josh Tangney- As a singer/songwriter from Chester, New York, Josh Tangney has been writing music and poetry for the past 10 years. Through his words he creates songs of passion, experience, life, love and loss. Tangney's influences span from acoustic and country music to R&B and hip-hop and everything else in between.

Stuedabakerbrown- The Monroe-based rock band Stuedabakerbrown draws influences primarily from legends such as The Beatles, U2, and Tom Petty, but the essence of the mid-90's alternative rock from their youth is prevalent in their songwriting. Boasting irresistible original songs and an unforgettable live performance, the group has developed a large and impressively loyal fanbase, most recently selling out New York City's famous Bitter End rock club this past December. John was raised in Kingston, NY… a small city about 2 hours north of New York City. While in High School, John started teaching him self guitar and piano while still playing drums in the school and outside of school in his band that never had a name! (Those were the days Bobby and Eric!) While earning a degree in music w/ a concentration in Composition/Performance, he added vibes, guitar, bass, piano and some woodwinds/brass to his abilities. John also earned a degree in media production w/ a concentration in Film/Audio/Video production/post-production and has worked in NYC for years in film/audio production. He now owns his own studio (JLS Sound) and recently opened his own production company (Bugbird Productions) where he scores instrumental music for film/tv. Tonight, we'll be featuring -- O.K., let's face it, even though it's a coffeehouse, we're NOT playing anything where you NEED a cup of coffee just to stay awake. We're claiming some floor space, rolling in the amps and drum kit, plugging in, and making sure there's a whole lotta shakin' goin' on -- so don't say we didn't give you advance notice, Isadore. Furthermore . . . you will have a good time.

An all-ages show, nice for those who prefer a non-alcoholic environment. NO COVER

And of course, we raise our collective coffee cups to toast and give a special thank-you to the New Paltz Muddy Cup for their continuing support of our music.
