This is a weekend workshop that runs from Friday, January 16 at 6 pm - Sunday January 18 at 5 pm. The historic election of our new President has captured the imagination of the American people and the world. Do you have hopes or concerns for our new President? This is an opportunity to let your voice be heard. This workshop is nonpartisan and does not require you to have voted for Obama. The expectation, however, is that you will channel your feelings and concerns about the new President in a positive direction. Discussion and collaborative sessions, written and spoken exercises, and musical explorations in an atmosphere of safety and respect will support you in learning how to express your desires and vision for our President and America, culminating in a unique song to help bring that vision into reality. The workshop is available for the low price of just $150 for the entire weekend ($120 if registered by 12/26/09). Meals and lodging are not included. | ||
