	Maria Muldaur's musical roots run as deep and varied as the Greenwich Village she grew up in. In the '60s, she joined John Sebastian & Steve Katz to form the Even Dozen Jug Band, and soon joined the Jim Kweskin Jug Band, appearing on 5 albums with the group. After 2 albums with her husband Geoff, she went solo, releasing the gold record MIDNIGHT AT THE OASIS in 1974. Her 10+ recordings since then are garnished with "tip-of-the-hat" guest appearances by artists such as Bonnie Raitt, Huey Lewis, Sonny Landreth and Mavis Staples, and showcase her abilities in jazz, pop, R&B, folk, gospel and blues.
