I sing. I write songs. I play guitar. I'm a native New Yorker. I established myself as singer, songwriter and guitarist for Brooklyn's indie rockers, The Nerve! over it's 10 year career. I am now exploring the uncharted territory of a new solo career. I'm totally immersing myself in the New York scene, singing and playing just an acoustic guitar and harmonica almost every night of the week at various bars, cafes and cabarets all over town and out of town. You can also catch me on any given day busking underground in the New York City subway system. In November 2007 I received an artist grant from the Broken Wing Foundation.

Guitarist Rolf Sturm has performed and/or appeared on CDs alongside of Tony Trischka, Loudon Wainwright, David Johansen, Billy Martin, Bob Mintzer, Glen Velez, Maggie Roche, Jorma Kaukonen, Ike Willis, Eddy Arnold, Pat Boone (!?!), and members of the Grateful Dead. He also leads his own NYC area bands Feed The Meter and Just Cause.
Rolf has toured North America and Europe, performing at the World Expo 2000 in Hannover, Germany, at Lincoln Center and Town Hall in NYC, and at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC. He has performed on soundtracks for both film and television and his music has been featured on NPR's "All Songs Considered". Rolf's newest release on the Water Street Music label is entitled "Shawangunk".

 As a singer songwriter, Susans style draws on many strains of roots based music, from blues to country. Returning to her roots as a solo performer, her songs include historical ballads, blues inflected melodies, and up tempo country flavored tunes. A performing member of the Tribes Hill music collective, she has been a featured artist at a number of recent festivals in the tri-state area. Recently she sat in with Steve Kirkman here at Dockside.
