Benefit Concert and Party for Hope's Fund
with Bar Scott, Artie Traum, The Refugees
Acoustic, Jazz, and Singer-Songwriter
Hope's Fund
Saugerties, NY   See Map
This is going to be quite the concert! Hope's Fund is an organization that I am involved in whose mission is to assist women in Ulster County with mentoring and financial help. This is our second big fund raiser and I am very excited about it. Friends of Hope's Fund have generously offered to host the party at their upstate NY estate. I've been asked to produce the concert, and there will also be food and drink catered by Tavern on the Green all under a big tent on the banks of the Hudson River. Pretty great!! This party will not be publicized because it's being held at a private residence. However, we would love you to come, so if you would like an invitation, please call the United Way in Kingston: 845 331 4199 x2. Tickets are $75. Don't miss it!! It's going to be a GREAT event.

PS The Refugees are: Cindy Bullens, Deborah Holland and Wendy Waldman

Tonight, we'll be featuring -- O.K., let's face it, even though it's a coffeehouse, we're NOT playing anything where you NEED a cup of coffee just to stay awake. We're claiming some floor space in the Studio, rolling in the amps and drum kit, plugging in, and making sure there's a whole lotta shakin' goin' on -- so don't say we didn't give you advance notice, Humberto. Furthermore . . . you will have a good time.

We've joined up with Cafe Chronogram to showcase our BRAND NEW Full-Length CD "Modern Sounds of Northern Towns". Also featuring spoken word, with Jonathan Gould, and visual art by Patrick Winfield. So this will be special night for all!

An all-ages show, nice for those who prefer a non-alcoholic environment. NO COVER !

And of course, we raise our collective coffee mugs to toast and give a special thank-you to the Muddy Cup for their support.

AN INTIMATE EVENING
with BOOKENDS BAND, CHRIS BROWN
Rock (classic), Singer-Songwriter
Dockside Pub
825 South Lake Boulevard
Mahopac, NY   See Map
Bookends, started by Chris Brown and Joe Summo as a duo back in 1976, blossomed into one of Westchester's top party bands. The band kept playing for about five years. After a long hiatus the guys started getting together once a year for a reunion gig. These shows were always a huge success. So much so that the band has regrouped and will be making their re-debut tonight. Chris and Joe will be joined by original band membersTony Saporito, Lou Bellofatto and honorary bookend, legendary bassman Eddie Denise. If this was not enough, the evening will startout with a set by Chris Brown accompanied by John Walsh on guitar. Chris has graced the stage at Dockside before. His voice, songs and style are a huge favorite and we are excited about the entire evening. Tickets are $15. each and are expected to sell fast. All this great music along with Dockside's great food and drink...who could ask for more.
