"...a honeyed-whisky voice that can send chills down your spine." - Associated Press "A perfect balance between a vagabond's restless spirit and a family man's thirst for stability...the ballads shudder & ache while the rockers haul ass like there's no tomorrow." - Houston Press "Jimmy LaFave delivers with foot-to-the-floor passion." - Playboy

Blues guitarist and singer Debbie Davies first gained widespread notice during her 3 years with the late Albert Collins' band, the Icebreakers. Her roles included solo & rhythm guitar, vocalist and guitar "duelist" with Collins, who called her "a great guitar player who sure can play the blues." She has worked with blues icons like B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Robert Cray, Koko Taylor and John Mayall (who gave her a rare and unequivocal endorsement). Her gritty vocals and searing guitar work have drawn comparisons to Eric Clapton and Stevie Ray Vaughan. Be here or be blue!

66 Main St.
Nyack, NY   See Map
We at OD’s consider ourselves lucky to be the only Rockland venue where you can see the great ALICE PROJECT, live. They're one of those bands that has it all... terrific singing and songwriting by front gal ALICE LEON, whose songs are showcased on movie and tv soundtracks (”One Life to Live”), and the kind of musicianship that has made the band a staple of over 150 podcasts.

Alice writes intelligent rock with great musical hooks, and bassist Alan Greene, drummer Scott Strunk and guitarist James Leahey add skills that are bright and right, thanks to extensive individual experience playing with nationally known performers (Leahey backs JOHN WAITE and ALISON KRAUSS).

See THE PROJECT perform favorites, as well as new songs from Alice's just released, fourth CD, "THE GIRL ON THE BOX".

OD's thanks HVM for allowing us to list The Alice Project's appearance, and reminds you that there's no cover charge

GREG BROWN, special guest SARAH LEE GUTHRIE & JOHNNY IRIO
Folk/Traditional, Singer-Songwriter
Towne Crier Cafe
130 Route 22
Pawling, NY   See Map
Greg Brown is on practically everyone's short list as an example of a contemporary folk artist, embodying the genre as much for our generation as did legendary voices from previous generations. His songs and his comfortable, spontaneous stage presence have earned him the status as practically "always welcome to the table" at Prairie Home Companion, at folk festivals across the country and on other diverse circuits around the world. "A wickedly sharp observer of the human condition." - Rolling Stone. Greg started performing at the Towne Crier Cafe before either was a legend, and it's a treat to have him back to our intimate setting.

SARAH LEE GUTHRIE & JOHNNY IRION: The musical richness and psychological depth of this collaboration is irrefutable proof that the disarming granddaughter of Woody/daughter of Arlo, and the prodigious South Carolinian quite naturally bring out the best in each other.
