 Johnny A. is widely regarded as one of America's finest contemporary guitarists. Gibson thinks so -- their Custom Shop designed a Signature Edition guitar per his specific requests which, when it was marketed in 2003, placed him in an exclusive club that included legends like BB King, Wes Montgomery, Chet Atkins, Joe Perry, Pat Martino and Les Paul himself. Johnny A's guitar is his voice -- the warmth of its tones and allure of melody summoning images of late-night bars, moonlight along a waterfront, mysterious candlelit encounters -- all without so much as a peep from any vocalist. He is being recognized by an ever-widening circle of high-prestige gigs with the likes of B.B. King, Robert Cray, and Jeff Beck plus an appearance at Eric Clapton's "Crossroads Guitar Festival" in 2004. He has also shared stages with Aerosmith, the Cars, Cheap Trick, Bad Co., the Smithereens, Dave Edmunds, Bob Seger, David Johansen, Yes, Brian Setzer Orchestra and Hootie and the Blowfish.

The Love Cats musical style is a fusion of upbeat and traditional blues, rock and soul that combines guitar, piano and Hammond organ sounds, percussive bass beats, and features a talented three-piece horn section. Several members contribute various styles to vocal lyrics. Their arrangements are original and energetic, their performance is exciting.
