The Uptown Jazz Trio is dynamic, performing a blend of timeless jazz standards, Brazilian classics, and original compositions. Rooted in swing, samba, bossa nova, and modern improvisation, their music creates an atmosphere that is both sophisticated and inviting.

Nat Janoff, Guitarist, composer and teacher, has been working steadily in the contemporary jazz scene for the past 15 years.

Miles Gilbert is a bassist, educator, and composer from Irvington, NY. A graduate of Oberlin Conservatory, he has performed at renowned venues including the Newport Jazz Festival, Carnegie Hall, the Deer Head Inn, and Jazz Forum.

Nicolas Duran is a drummer and educator from Colombia and based in New York. A graduate of UIS University of Colombia in Classical Percussion, Nicolas won a scholarship to study at the drummer collective in 2009.
