Sean Griffin is a veteran Northeast rocker, and Music Conservatory at SUNY Purchase alum, who has fronted the Irish punk band The Ruffians for 25 years. Now, he is hitting the road solo in support of his record "People are Mad".

Sean Griffin has performed over 2,000 shows across the US and Europe, including support slots for Black 47, The Popes, Enter the Haggis, and Gaelic Storm. His new album was crafted by an all GRAMMY-winning team led by producer Kenny Siegel (Cheap Trick, Langhorne Slim, Tears for Fears), engineered by Mathew Cullen (Chuck Profit, Flaming Lips, Lemonheads), mixed by Paul Kolderie (Radiohead, Pixies, Dinosaur JR), and mastered by Greg Calbi (Ramones, Patti Smith, Bruce Springstein, Tom Petty, John Lennon).

The single "Be My Girl" has been receiving airplay on SiriusXM, Regional UK Radio in London, and RTE 1 in Ireland and coverage from Spin, Chicago Sun Times and New York Daily News.
