The 2026 Peekskill Film Festival returns for its landmark 11th year, bringing two unforgettable days of independent film, live events, filmmaker Q&As, networking, and celebration to the historic Paramount Hudson Valley Theater in the heart of Peekskill.
Taking place July 24th & 25th, the festival showcases a diverse lineup of award-winning independent films from around the world including narrative features, documentaries, shorts, horror, comedy, experimental works, and emerging local voices. From first-time filmmakers to established indie creators, the Peekskill Film Festival continues its mission of spotlighting bold storytelling and authentic cinematic voices.
More than just screenings, the weekend is designed as a true filmmaker experience, featuring red carpet moments, post-screening discussions, networking after parties, industry connections, and an electric atmosphere filled with artists, creators, and film lovers alike.
