More than a performance, Blues & Beyond is a compelling musical exploration of African American history—told through song. From early field hollers and camp meetings to spirituals, the Blues, and the roots of today’s popular music, this experience traces how music became both a mirror and a megaphone for the African American story in the United States.

Music and history are inseparable. Through rhythm, melody, and storytelling, Blues & Beyond invites audiences to reflect on where we’ve been as a nation, how far we’ve come, and how much further there is to go.
