2022 Capital Region Blues Challenge Finalist, Berkshire-based, Robin O’Herin plays both original and traditional American music using bottleneck and fingerstyle guitar and mountain dulcimer. Her music is distinguished by her pounding rhythm and authentic style. Robin specializes in historically rich, often interactive concerts that include original and traditional American music, for schools, libraries and small listening rooms. Her concerts are warm, affirming experiences she shares with the audience. A natural teacher, she teaches in many different settings: both privately, in schools and also in music camps. Subjects taught include fingerstyle and bottleneck blues guitar, ukulele, voice and songwriting, She has had her original music licensed to PBS.
