Night Fountain is a dreamy alternative pop band formed in 2022 in New York's Mid-Hudson Valley Region. Our style infuses indie pop with heavy doses of psychedelia, gothic rock, punk, classical, and jazz-influenced Lynchian weirdness. Vocalist Elena Batt, guitarist/vocalist Eric J Roth, and bassist Adrian Morgan bring a wealth of classical, jazz, and rock music training and experience to their music and have collaborated extensively on the original pieces that explore elements of nature, art, poetry, myths, historical texts and other languages. Influences include 80's and 90's alternative pioneers such as The Cure, Cocteau Twins, Dead Can Dance, The Smiths, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Bauhaus, Dead Can Dance, Beck, Mazzy Star, REM, The Church, The Stone Roses, The Postal Service, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Sinead O'Connor, and Bjork, as well as newer acts such as Chelsea Wolfe, The National, Beach House, Cigarettes After Sex, Alvvays, Goldfrapp and St. Vincent. They invite you to join them at the night fountain for ballads of love, loss, memory and wonder.
