So what is The Ball Drop? Simply put, it’s a one-day Winter mini-festival & slumber party with a thousand or so close friends, of course. It’s a celebration of the year gone by and the one that lies ahead. It’s hanging out with bands and fans, all together, under one roof, with nowhere to drive when the party ends. It’s a very special gala affair, a Dionysian display of revelry and joy, featuring great music, dancing, food, libations, festive attire, costumes, mirth and likely a bit of mayhem… it’s The Ball Drop.  Here’s a New Year’s rock n roll party that is sure to be a blast! Richie Scarlet “The Emperor of Rock n Roll” and his band return to Brian’s Backyard BBQ in Middletown on Thursday, Dec. 31.
Gregg Woods project opens the show at 8pm.

 Born and raised in the fast pace of NYC's entertainment business, and mentored by greats such as Luther Vandross, Roger Daltrey and Whitney Houston, Clayton Bryant has toured and recorded with music legends such as Rock & Roll Hall Of Famer Darlene Love, Ashford & Simpson, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen and Soulternative Pop artist Simpson. Clayton will be singing songs from his new LP "Wild Horses", to be released in February.
Clayton was featured on Good Day NY when he debuted his hit single "Lost Touch With The World" which featured Grammy Award Winning Vocalist Lisa Fischer on backup vocals. His 6-Octave range and unique style have been an integral part of many worldwide projects and concerts including:

Jeffreys has played with everyone from Sonny Rollins to Lou Reed to Bruce Springsteen and his songs have been covered by punk pioneers The Circle Jerks, jazz trumpeter Randy Brecker, neofolk band Vetiver, all a tribute to his depth and variety.
