The Gin Blossoms have undoubtedly left their mark on the rock music map with their fusion of melodic rock, pop, folk, and country, which paved the modern rock landscape and have produced countless album successes throughout their inception in 1987 where they saw peak success throughout the 1990s. Fans are very familiar with the Blossoms’ five-time Platinum breakthrough album New Miserable Experience (1992), containing gems like “Until I Fall Away,” “Found Out About You,” “Hey Jealousy,” and “Allison Road.” This smash album helped define the post grunge era during the 90s. Congratulations I’m Sorry (1996) was the Blossoms’ final record of the decade and brought two more hits: “Follow You Down”- which spent ten weeks in the Top Ten- and “As Long As It Matters,” which earned a Grammy nomination for Best Performance by Duo or Group. The band will perform in over 100 cities in 2017, and with additional promotional stops this year will make one of the busiest touring years since the early 90

Not all FUNK is created equal. A beat with no syncopation, a bass with no grooooooooove, vocals with no soul - leave the listener with a severe case of Honky-Pox. We recommend a soul vaccination administered painlessly by The Funk Junkies. Founding members Rich Fracassi, Jim Verdi, Tommy Rausch, Joe Marian , Jason Miller and other regular guests - Gennaro Esposito/Guitar, Neil (Nail) Alexander/Keys, Pito Castillo/Percussion, Joey Ray/Lead Vocals, are specialists when laying down the Funk.

This thirteen piece funk orchestra, includes a five piece horn section. Check them out to cure what ails you. A "Funky Good Time" will show up on your test results!

Featuring: Rich Fracassi Bass/ Vocals, Jim Verdi/Drums, Tommy Rausch/Guitar/Bass/Vocals, Joe Mariani/Tenor Sax, Jason Miller/Trombone and the rest of the gang!

Dylan Doyle BandThe Falcon
1348 Route 9W
Marlboro, NY   See Map
Based in the Hudson Valley, rising star Dylan Doyle has been performing nationally, as well as internationally. Southern bred, northern raised, his trio’s style of music lies somewhere between roots rock and jam funk. It evokes Woodstock and dips into southern soul. It’s a uniquely American sound Doyle calls “a big melting pot.”

After sharing the stage with the young musician in Memphis a few years back, Ben Cauley, sole survivor of the Otis Redding plane crash and co-founder of the Bar-Kays likened Dylan to a young Jimi Hendrix. When asked about the wave of young talent rising from the Hudson Valley, Van Morrison guitarist John Platania commented “Dylan Doyle is the future.” Bill Payne of Little Feat described Dylan’s work as “imaginative and original.”

Uriah Heep
with Paramount Hudson Valley Theater
Hard/Metal
Paramount Hudson Valley Theater
1008 Brown Street
Peekskill, NY, NY   See Map
Along with Led Zeppelin, Black Sabbath and Deep Purple, Uriah Heep helped invent a decorative and uniquely British form of heavy metal with their debut album… Very ‘Eavy …Very ‘Umble , offered as a self-titled on American shores, historically massive in the invention of a music format that would rule the ‘70s and only intensify in the ‘80s. It us from those roots, that classics such as “Gypsy,” “Bird of Prey” and “Walking in Your Shadow,” that began their ascendance both at home and in the U.S. and culminated in their most enduring works, Demons and Wizards, The Magician’s Birthday and Sweet Freedom, all of which went gold in the states and entered the Billboard Top 40. What is perhaps even more admirable than the love for the band across the globe has been the quality and consistency of the band’s music across a myriad of personnel changes, some of them potentially critical, beginning with the loss of charismatic vocalist David Byron after the band’s ninth studio album, High & Might.

Featuring: Darren Denman: Piano/Keyboards; Eva Lawitts: Bass; Ethan Meyer: Drums

[Named for a problem that has shown the simplicity of quantum mechanics in comparison to classical mechanics], This Brooklyn NY band blends eclectic influences. Members - Darren, Eva, and Ethan summon the spirits of their shared musical history: jazz, pop, math-rock, classical, free improvisation, and science fiction to coalesce into one controlled cacophony. It is both cathartic in its emotional delivery and mentally stimulating in its precise construction.

With a strong melodic sense, a penchant for complex rhythms and the searing high energy of a rock band, Three Body Problem makes music that is all their own. Their self-titled debut EP will be released on Spotify and other streaming platforms in early 2018.

Who the heck is Naming the Twins? Robbie, an only child, longed to have a brother or sister. Music came to him naturally. How can you not end up writing & arranging songs when your grandpa relives his silent movie days on the piano every day at 6am, mom is singing opera & your uncle is perfecting ballads & poems? Why Folk music? Robbie’s dad was sent on assignment to photograph Lightfoot in ‘68. “Who the hell is that” his dad asked? To which, Gordon educated him by giving him a stack of his LP’s. Those albums became Robbie’s prized possessions then eagerly added Pete Seeger, Pentangle, Stan Rogers, etc. Meanwhile Kath had the harmony-rich sounds of Ian & Sylvia, PP&M, Simon & Garfunkel & her dad’s Barbershop quartet on her turntable. 9 years ago Kath paused at her restaurant, heard Robbie’s songs, tried out some harmony with him, & promptly gave him a swift kick in the behind saying “let’s get your gorgeous songs out there”. Bingo! There she was – the sister Robbie had wished
