 DAMIEN DEMPSEY's earliest musical influences were the post-pub singsongs that his parents used to have at their home in Donaghmede (on Dublin’s Northside) when Damien was a toddler. Today, it's likely there's not a home from Dalkey to Galway where Damien Dempsey is not a household name. His unique sound reflects influences from traditional Sean-Nós to his musical heroes: Bob Marley and Elvis Presley.
JESS KLEIN's soulful, passionate voice, and lyrics that alternate between searing and heartbreakingly vulnerable, convey the kind of emotional intimacy that caused the Boston Globe to describe her as "Quite simply, one of the most gifted performers this area has produced." Over TWENTY-FIVE YEARS later Out To Lunch is still delighting audiences with a sound uniquely their own that combines the very best of musical warmth and sharpness.
