Poets' Corner Open Mic
Dates: once a month on the second Sunday 3pm-5pm

ompkins Corners Cultural Center presents its regular open mic for poetry and spoken word event, open to the public.

As part of TCCC’s ongoing community outreach, “Poets’ Corner” will be a local venue and welcoming home for writers of all types. Professionals and new writers alike will have a venue and audience to hear their work.

On the second Sunday of each month, featured poets will open the event by reading their work. Following our feature, we will open the mic for poets in attendance who have come to read. Come out and read your work at Tompkins Corners Poets' Corner Open Mic. This month we have a wonderful featured poet, Loretta Oleck. After our feature we open the mic for all who care to read.

Poets' Corner is proud to present a new featured poet each month. When our feature is through, we open the mic to all who wish to read their work. TCCC is a warm and welcoming small historic church with a beautiful stage and friendly crowd.

June 9th Loretta Oleck will bring us her poetry. Loretta is a Pushcart Poetry Prize nominee and author of two poetry collections. Her work has been published extensively worldwide. Help us welcome her and bring your own work! Light refreshments will be served, and contributions encouraged.
