Clarence Spady ~ "One of those rare surprises that smacks you upside the head and lets you know how lucky you are to be able to the listen to music." - Vintage Guitar Magazine

Described as "the future of the blues" by Bill Dahl (Chicago Tribune) circa 1996, Clarence’s sound has become more distinguishable now than ever before.

Raised in Harlem, Jerry Dugger caught the music bug early, introduced to the New York City Blues scene by way of the now infamous Dan Lynch Blues Bar. He spent the next thirteen years learning to play bass and sing, while hosting Saturday and Sunday Blues Jams. Jerry Shared his stage with Stevie Ray Vaughan, Johnny Copeland, and James Cotton, among others. His bass/baritone vocals and thunderous bass-playing earned him a place in the New York Blues Hall of Fame. Jerry's band "The Dugger Brothers" are a staple on the New York City Blues scene.

Word of his storytelling sensibilities, vocal and guitar chops spread to NYC and Shawn Colvin invited him to be a special guest on her national Fat City tour. He took audiences across the country by storm. Vance became a favored opener for such artists as Aretha Franklin, Arlo Guthrie and Anita Baker. With 12 critically acclaimed albums, Vance continues to refine his unlikely union of humor, virtuosity and the unexpected. Called “one of the most talented duos to take stage in NYC” by Deli Magazine, The Whispering Tree are singer/songwriter Eleanor Kleiner and multi-instrumentalist Elie Brangbour. Together, they craft richly immersive folk-rock brimming with evocative lyrics and a panoramic musicality. Invisible Forces, the fourth recording by the fiercely independent twosome, was self-produced, fan-funded and recorded at Elie and Eleanor’s home studio in Beacon, NY and at Old Soul Studio in Catskill, NY. The album explores a deeply personal and political landscape, with themes of hope, despair and social consciousness.
