Vickie Russell
I have been a professional singer/songwriter for over 20 years and have studied with top notch teachers in NYC. I bring my knowledge of vocal technique, performance technique, acting, and handling performance anxiety to my students from beginners to professionals. I have taught one on one, as well as workshops and classes in my private studio and at Steinway Hall and Baldwin Piano in New York, I create a study program to fit the student's needs. My emphasis with vocal training is in finding the student's natural voice and making sure it is well supported with no straining. I also work with pitch issues. I teach singers how to accompany themselves on piano and guitar as well. And finally, I work with beginner to advanced piano students of all ages. I have a classical piano background but also teach pop, songwriting and theory on piano.
