On Saturday, July 8, the Pawling Music By The Lake Summer Concert Series kicks off its 12th season with a free concert featuring “The Annie Mash Trio”, featuring former members of the band “Back To The Garden 1969”.

Led by former “BTTG” drummer & lead vocalist Annie Masciandaro, who has performed at Music By The Lake for the last 5 years, the trio also features original “BTTG” bassist/vocalist Mike Garner, and Chris Palmerini on guitar and vocals.

“The Annie Mash Trio” plays all your classic rock favorites from the 60's through the 90s; an authentic representation of this amazing era of music, while sprinkling in some of your favorite current hits. Many of the songs they perform are songs you probably know well but haven’t heard in a while, all kept alive by this extremely talented trio.

On Saturday, July 22, the Pawling Music By The Lake Summer Concert Series will present a free concert featuring the band “Petey Hop & The Jackrabbits”. Making their 4th appearance at Music By The Lake this season, “Petey Hop & The JackRabbits” are a jumpin’, jivin’, swinging four piece band built for a good time. Bandleader/guitarist Pete “Petey Hop” Hopkinson is a seasoned veteran who has performed extensively at Hudson Valley venues, including Daryl’s House and The Town Crier, as well as opening for well-known bluesman Robert Cray at the Ridgefield Playhouse.

Playing a variety of music from Hank to Hendrix, Duke to Dylan, Bach to Buck, Son House to Son Volt, or Muddy to Miles; from T-Bone through Stevie Ray, with some early country blues thrown in as well - whether a hard swing, deep pocket shuffle, funky backbeat or slow burner, The Jackrabbits lay it down.

On Saturday, August 12, the Pawling Music By The Lake Summer Concert Series will present a free concert featuring “The Truants”.

2017 is the 50th anniversary of the 1967 “Summer Of Love”, and “The Truants” are the perfect band to celebrate this anniversary. Making their first appearance at Music By The Lake this season, the band specializes in British Invasion and Garage Rock covers - their motto is "We play nothing after 1967!" Their repertoire is selected specifically for dancing - if you’re not dancing at a Truants show, you’re probably recovering from hip surgery. There’s no other explanation.

Band members include drummer Bill Scheft (former writer and performer with the David Letterman show), guitarist Mike Muller (who has performed with the Paul Schafer’s band on Letterman), Gabriel Fabella (guitar and lead vocals), Roger Lipson (bass, sitar, vocals) and Steve Goodman (organ, keyboards, harp, percussion and vocals).

On Saturday, August 26, the Pawling Music By The Lake Summer Concert Series will present a free concert featuring the band “The Greyhounds”.

A 5-piece roots rock band, “The Greyhounds” have been together since 2001. These seasoned musicians realized they had a shared interest in back to basics, rhythm-driven rock'n'roll, and joined forces to form one rockin' unit. Their dedication to their musical roots comes though at full speed. Blending Rockabilly and Rhythm & Blues with the twang of Classic Country and the drive of 60's Beat and – yes! – even Surf Instrumentals, these guys are roaring on all cylinders. The result is rock’n’roll in its purest form – dynamic, joyful, powerful, and honest.

The band members are: Stuart Millman (vocals), Mark Hollenbeck (guitar), Elmo Contelmo (bass), Chris Kaiser (drums), and Steve Greenfield (sax & keyboards).
