Taylor K-22 All Koa Guitar (1991)
The fretboard has ebony binding and then a line of white purfling around all three sides. The top is bordered in crème-black-crème and the sound hole in the same with a large ring of abalone between two such decorative rings. The backstripe is black-white-black; the sides are bordered in tortoise shell celluloid bordered by white-black. This guitar was made back in the days of the one-piece mahogany neck, having no splice or scarf joint behind the neck or at the heel. Tuners are gold-plated Shalers. There is a strap pin in the neck heel.
It has a simple under-the-saddle Fishman transducer pickup with 9v battery and a jackpin/strap pin. It shows only the slightest signs of having been held and played. This is an exceedingly pretty guitar, and one whose beautiful, rich voice and playability will fill your being with joy, as it does mine.
Price is $2200 firm, cash only. No trades, no checks. Taylor hardshell case is in excellent condition, and we purchased it when it was new...only one owner: Us.
