Seed-Maid: Sentimental Songs
Acoustic, Singer-Songwriter, and Folk/Traditional
by
The Princes of Serendip

T. G. Vaniniís vocals, piano and violin join with Julie Parisi Kirbyís extraordinary voice in this collection of some of Vaniniís warmest compositions.

Seed-Maid: Sentimental Songs launches a series of four song collections by The Princes of Serendip, each emphasizing a different temperament. In the music of Seed-Maid, a Celtic and classical heart is leavened by influences ranging from Renaissance England to the Balkans and the Beatles. A strong sense of narrative and poetry informs the lyrics.

On Seed-Maid: Sentimental Songs T. G. and Julie are abetted by Jude Roberts (vocals and guitar), Lou Pappas (bass), Abby Newton (cello) and George Quinn (mandolin). Seed-Maid was recorded and co-produced at Coldbrook Productions by Julie Last. The photographs for the cover of the album were taken by T.G.

"The CD [Seed-Maid] is a beguiling breath of fresh air with not one weak moment. Every song is to be savoured and enjoyed. Do yourself a favour; dim the lights, light the fire, pour yourself a hot chocolate or a goblet of mulled wine, put on the CD and enjoy the passion (and compassion) that the Princes of Serendip bring to their music. You will thank yourself afterwards." John Sillberg, CKOL Radio, 93.7 FM, Campbellford, ON

Released: January, 2017
