In 2016, he added the Nobel prize for literature to his dossier. Gary Solomon, co-founder of the acclaimed tribute to The Band, The THE BAND Band, steps on stage alone, acoustic guitar and harmonica in hand, to present a broad selection of Dylan’s incredible catalog. Dylan's music has been played, covered, copied, reworked, reinvented, and reconstructed more than perhaps any other songwriter in history, by everything from rock bands to jazz combos to concert orchestras. Levon Helm can be heard in Chris's early sessions, and sitting in with regular gigs. Soon, Levon asked Chris to join the house band at his new club in New Orleans. Chris’s band relocated and became the focal point of Levon Helm's Barn Burners, backing up touring stars and opening for New Orleans' finest players. Their CD" Gonna Die Tryin" is first-rate musicianship throughout, and O’Leary’s band is a group on the rise. The material truly shines.
