"Wild" Bill performs an eclectic collection of Standards and Originals, mostly funny, often poignant. His work now includes a full-length Banjoperetta,"The Legend of Johnny G.String." He also covers Frank Sinatra, Marty Robbins, Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Grandpa Jones, Kenny Rogers, Folk, Bluegrass, Classic Country, Rock and Edith Piaff. Besides backing myself, I play banjo with a fair amount of competence and would be capable of sitting in with almost any band if a gig required it. I have appeared at many of the local venues including The Anchor, The Rosendale Cafe, The High Falls Cafe, Market, Market, Tony's Pizza, The Strand, The Tea Haus and The Senate House Historical Grounds. I play at many of the local Senior Residences including The Mountain View and the Hudson Valley Senior Residence in Kingston. Of Course, in those cases, I'm more "Mild" Bill than "Wild" Bill. The same is true when I play at schools or Children's parties. You also might have seen me on the Catskill Mountain Railroad sitting in on banjo with the highly prestigious Earl Pardini and the Slide Mountain String Band. As a matter of fact, any time you've heard banjo playing in the last few years, it might have been me. She's never far from my hands since she got back from the hospital.
