The Mid-Hudson FolkFest complex of the Poughkeepsie Riverfront Amphitheater, Waryas Park, and Adolfo's pavilion is one half block due West from the Poughkeepsie Railroad Station--just walk downhill to the Hudson River. Since both MetroNorth and Amtrak stop there, this is the best option for those from New York City, or anyplace with connections to Amtrak.

Handicapped parking is available on site. The nearest parking is at the train station, but this will probably fill up early. There are City of Poughkeepsie parking lots and garages one block north on Market St. from the Main St./Market St. intersection, then walk 3 blocks down Main to Waryas Park.

Driving directions: from the Thruway exit at New Paltz, east on Route 299 to intersecction with 9W, south on 9W to MidHudson Bridge, left on Market St. to Main St., left on Main St. to train station. If you are on US Route 9 from the North or South, follow signs to the train station. From the east, take 44 or 55 until they merge, then turn right onto Main St, again follow sign for train station.
